That is a thing of beauty. I could tell how it was going to work out even before you finished. Had to watch with no sound to not wake the Mrs!!!
Great build, looks strong and compact enough to actually use. Awesome stuff! 👍🍺🇬🇧

That's a nice way. The ugly way is to just take a regular differential part and put some rubber circle below the middle gear ;)

Very cool, compact build! I guess my question has to do with how to apply power to this LSD through a driveshaft? Do we need to build an additional housing for this LSD. The model you show in the top left is unclear how that LSD works. Thanks!

    Such a slippery little thing

What is the point of limited slip? I built one and I can’t honestly tell it’s purpose in reality.

it provides traction even when one wheel slips. Turn the crown wheel and the axle will always rotate, unlike a normal diff where if one wheel is raised or "slipping", all power goes to that one 🤓😎👍🍺🇬🇧

@@carlbModelsI’ll have to rebuild it to tell for sure but thanks for the info.

It's not often a Lego model is doing stuff that warrants limited slip. It's just an interesting object and modeling engineering ideas is fun.
