I just love watching you do things around the house. I do feel exhausted just watching you get all this done while I am cozy in bed and in my pajamas 😅
I haven’t learned to make cheese yet, but when I buy a block of cheese I grate the whole block on the grater attachment for my kitchen aid stand mixer & then I store it in the freezer. It doesn’t go bad & thaws pretty much instantly.
I know you must have rare occasions when you just think, I can't do this today. For those days know, we all have them. On your slowest day, it is more than most people can do on their best day. You are an amazing person, Lisa.
My 24 year old daughter is getting married Saturday and I watch you remembering her homework time in the kitchen with me cooking/baking. She would finish homework before the other children because she’s so smart and immediately go help teach someone else to help them finish homework quickly too. Great job! ❤
Although I am in a much later stage of life than you are, you still inspire me so much! I lived many years away from my family because of my job and you have inspired this 59-year-old woman to try new things. God bless you and your family!
What you do is quite amazing!! All I can hope is that your husband really treasures you. That you have some fun in amongst all the work. That you don't lose who you are which is beyond breadmaking and being a mother. I hope that you pull out a box of cereal somedays too. Blessings!
I need you to narrate my life with your calming voice. You inspire me to see some of the “mundane” tasks as a stay at home/homeschool mom as a joy. It’s helped my mindset so much with seeing my purpose at home!
I’ve said before that I would love to just sit in your beautiful kitchen and eat your freshly baked bread! Lisa, you’re an amazing mom and you serve your family well! God bless y’all. 😀❤️
🎉 I hope you are feeling great postpartum. He looks like he’s growing so fast with his precious baby legs cuddling you. God Bless you this week. I am praying for you. I enjoy your channel so much.
Victor is getting big! Thank you for showing us everything that goes on around your farmhouse! It's always interesting to hear what the kids are up to, and how you and your husband switch on and off, helping with the kids! Always good to watch your videos Lisa!
I don’t do half as much as you do for your home but I get so inspired to do what I can with what I have. You make our job look so fulfilling! Thank you 🥰
Bless your heart My grandmother had 10 children and it helps me to watch you to get to know my grandmother even better 😊. She loved God and family. She was so good to us all. I'm now 80....so she's been with Jesus many , many years... can't wait to see her again. Soon and very soon ❤❤❤
It is wonderful when you have chores that you know by heart and your body and mind work together to do them on auto-pilot. It becomes a kind of zen or meditative activity. Fresh tomatoes are one of the great treats of a long summer season. No matter how good a tomato sauce of one type or another is, it will never beat a plain old fresh tomato. Theo was so proud to hand you the picked pepper. So cute. It's delightful to see that your kids all get to mix schoolwork & chores & playtime within each day.
Love watching your videos! Raised 5 children, and pulled them from public school, and stayed home with them. Would bake whole wheat white bread, and grind the wheat,, etc. Have about 6 , 50 lb. bins now! Hard, but, so refreshing as they are now grown, and I am still learning new things! Five Grand babies now, and I work, and am starting over in a new life.
God bless you and your beautiful family❤❤❤and please your prayers for the peoples how losed there loved ones in the earthquake here in marrocco🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦,and ones again thank you very much for chearing your life whit us respect🤝👍
The bread information you gave here is way more information than on the beginner sourdough recipe but on your blog. This is probably going to change my sourdough making. This is totally extra information that is incredibly helpful.
Your little ones are so cute and it’s nice to see a peak of them here and there as you showed on this video. Your not over exposing them but letting us see a realistic peek. You must have a lot of patience to do all that you do. It was nice to see your husband pitching in with the vegetables as well. You have a beautiful family.
Just had a lunch of my toasted Asiago cheese sourdough with salami and a fresh tomato! Just before I pre-shape my dough, I add in grated Asiago, shape and then finish the proofing. I bake about three times a week and since there are only four of us at home currently, I do freeze my bread.
Lisa you are the realest YouTubing homesteading homeschool mama out there. I love your honesty, your true to life vlogging and I genuinely feel your love for what you do. Thank you!!!!❤
I was just thinking while watching this that it’s going to be a beautiful journey to watch when your girls are much older and being in the kitchen with you cooking and baking. I know one daughter loves to be in there but will be sweet to see them all with you. I only had one daughter and we aren’t very close.
I haven't gotten in to cheese making but it's on the list. I just conquered soap making and I barter with my friend who makes her own vanilla and apple cider vinegar. I wish we were more of a bartering community!
Yees mamma! We have7- 17-20 months here praying for baby # 8 still! Life is suuper crazy! We joined a choir this year so all 5 6-17 are in it divided into groups! Twice a week and we have bible class on the same nights! For my my husband and the 2 older kids! Lol also trying to get homeschooling going.. but it’s soo hard when the weather is soo beautiful!! And tolerable!
Thank you for sharing your precious family time with us. Theo is gorgeous and Victor is getting big! Blessings to you Lisa, Luke and family from Ireland ❤️🙏🇮🇪
You work hard and are very organised and practical. I love your garden, your homestead and all your cooking and food preparation. A wholesome lifestyle and a loving family 🏠🤎
There is not one thing that I don't enjoy watching you do! It just shows that anyone can get the things done with a little teamwork coupled with the desire to do it! Love those Walmart finds!
I absolutely love watching you accomplish so many things and taking care of your children! You were definitely hand picked by our Heavenly Father to be a mother❤❤❤
I absolutely love watching the reality of kids in the kitchen and real things. Such a beautiful homemaking video and life.. thank you Lisa I enjoy the story telling 💕
I am a mum living in a city. However, I find so much inspiration from your videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to make them on top of everything else you do.
If it gets really busy and you don't have time to chop the peppers I stuck some hot peppers in a bag in the freezer whole and then seeeded and chopped them after I thawed them . I realize that makes more work later but it does work
I am so wishing I could have your kitchen work table, unfortunately my kitchen is small. When I make stuffed peppers I like to put some shredded cheese in the bottom, then fill with the mixture and put more on top! I do the same with taco’s, putting cheese in the bottom of the hard shell or even on the flour tortilla keeps the shells from getting soggy and prevents the juice running down your arm.
I have 2 rectangular cast iron dutch ovens, this means I can bake 2 loaves side by side, it also makes a more regular shaped loaf which I find is more even for sandwiches. I use your recipe for my daily bread!
I would love to see a what your life looks like from morning to evening because mostly i see you in the kitchen and i am wondering how the rest of you day look like 😍😜
You are doing such a great job as a mama and a home-maker! Just wanted to put it our there. I hope and I am sure your family appreciates all you to and value you a lot!
You inspire me to be a better steward in my kitchen. I've been wanting to try to bake more with sourdough and your recipes have helped me to take the plunge and start using my starter more! Thank you for sharing your daily family life with us. I love to watch your videos while I'm working in my kitchen.
I just love watching these types of videos. We're currently at home with our first child and I've just started working with sourdough. This is my dream life that I'm working towards.
Hey Lisa we have something in common, we both have 6 weekers - difference is that she is my first and last as far as I know, so big learning curve am here watching you in awe as I can barely keep her in the wrap and get anything done around the house - thanks for inspiring me, someday
Don’t be discouraged. My kids absolutely hated baby wearing and to be honest I did too. 😆 every mom and kid is different. Give yourself grace. The first was the hardest for me
Your can freeze the cheese! I do it all the time. Put the. Cheese in freezer jars in useable portions and just pull out the morning of. I love your kitchen !!!
The one thing I know is, I get the most fulfillment from being a mom, homemaker and preparing meals for my family than I ever did from being a employee at a 9-5. I know it’s not possible for everyone but those who choose to work because they don’t want to stay at home, I can’t wrap my head around. I feel for them, I really do. Me too that’s exactly when I catch up my RUclips videos. 😂
But after gives us some courage to do more stuff that we would not do otherwise!! Big thks for that!!!
Same. I'm on the couch like wow, she gets so much done! 😂
I’m amazed at all she gets done in all of her videos. Makes me feel lazy but inspired at the same time
I haven’t learned to make cheese yet, but when I buy a block of cheese I grate the whole block on the grater attachment for my kitchen aid stand mixer & then I store it in the freezer. It doesn’t go bad & thaws pretty much instantly.

I need you to narrate my life with your calming voice. You inspire me to see some of the “mundane” tasks as a stay at home/homeschool mom as a joy. It’s helped my mindset so much with seeing my purpose at home!
My meditation time is watching you manage your household. Thank you for making this content for us!
Me too
I’ve said before that I would love to just sit in your beautiful kitchen and eat your freshly baked bread! Lisa, you’re an amazing mom and you serve your family well! God bless y’all. 😀❤️
I learned about cracking the egg in another bowl or cup first in home economics back in 1975. 😂. One of the few things I remember.

We make stuffed peppers with a filling like meatloaf using rice and tomato juice. Stuff place in oven with more tomato juice poured over and around.
Thank you for being a Godly example of wife, momma, and homemaker. ❤
And family earner.
I love your attitude of the repetitive homemaking. That is it a blessing to serve. Good video to help with reminder of that.

Here in the Netherlands, we put cheese in de freezer if we have too much of it.
We usually buy cheese by the kilo in large blocks.
We grate it, or make slices and put it in the freezer.
It might be an option for your abundance of cheese.
Saying hi from the Netherlands 🤗❤️
