    Great piece, Marta! I’ve been working on linocut a lot lately but this has made me want to get back to collagraph. Thanks for the ongoing inspiration!

    You've done it again, Marta! What a playful, energetic print. That transparent magenta horizon line is yummy - I love how it transformed and gave depth to the phthalo green. Your suggestion of perspex, acetate, Dura-Lar sheets has transformed my printing practice and I pretty much run to my studio to try something new after watching your videos. High five from me to you.

    Superschöner Druck, muss die aquafarbe trocknen, bevor man mit Acrylfarbe darüber druckt? Vielen Dank für die tollen Videos.

      You are welcome thank you for watching. The acrylic paint is only use for the gelli printing and Akua inks for mono printing and collagraph. Hope this helps 🤗

    I love your videos. Never underwhelming! Would it be possible to do all these steps with a jelli plate? I don’t have a press. But would love to try something similar. 😊

    • @CollagraphPrinting
      @CollagraphPrinting  5 месяцев назад

      Quite possibly. You wouldn’t get such crisp edge which the collagraph plate, but you don’t need a press for relief printing using Lino, have you tried that?

    • @maryrjfitz
      @maryrjfitz 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@CollagraphPrinting No, but will def look into it. Thanks 😊 so much!

    Beautiful thank you! I've only used gel plate and was a bit lost. Is this all printed on paper or in a transparency? Or did your use the transparency ie mylar in the same way as use a gel plate?
    Don't worry if this is too much of a question to answer briefly.

    Please can you tell me how to prevent the acetate from sticking to the paper when printing. I have tried wet paper and wet ink but it is always sticking😢😢😢thanks

      I was using akua inks and I also tried golden acrylics but the acetate still stuck to the paper.

    • @CollagraphPrinting
      @CollagraphPrinting  5 месяцев назад

      @@msdaisybell123 thank you for watching 🤗. I wouldn’t use acrylic with acetate as it dries too quick. How stuck is it? If you use akua you shouldn’t be able to peel it off?

    • @msdaisybell123
      @msdaisybell123 5 месяцев назад

      @CollagraphPrinting That's for your reply! It was very stuck destroyed😢. I tried wet and then dry papers, I tried less pressure on the press, I tried various acrylics and akua inks., I tried different papers.... I have ordered Dura Lar from UK because it didn't seem to be available in Ireland. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
      I love your chanel and I rarely watch you tube and I rarely use social media so it was an amazing find! Thanks for making such wonderful videos. 0:01
