I loved that toast scene between them. They're so similar
The actress that played *Siggy* actually asked the writer to kill her character cuz she got urgent thing with her family member that she needs to take of in the States.
This exlpains why so many people feel her death to be somehow pointless or without proper reason. But considered the true issue behind Siggy's death - they did a good job ending her story.

her body got too cold, she had hyporthemia, her boddy stopped working, and her brain afterwards, he could have saved her, but he didn't
lives had to be sacrificed for the pain the Wanderer was taking away. This explains why the woman and child/children were found dead in the water and why either Ragnar and Auslag's other sons had to die or Siggy. When Siggy saved them, she became the sacrifice. (A Life for a Life).

Throughout this show, I've noticed one of the big divisions between people is those who are willing to kill their family for their ambitions vs. those who can't. Just based on what we've seen so far, Horik and Borg both had backstories that involved kinkilling while neither Ragnar and Rollo could ultimately bring themselves to kill each other. Kwenthrith is part of that first group.

Symon Oliveira no it isn’t. They talked about who he is back in season 1. When Lagertha was interim Earl and the couple came for a judgment and the guy was saying his wife cheated on him and the baby wasn’t his. Lagertha called it a blessing from this god that he boned the wife and impregnated her. It’s that god, not Loki.
