I have to say, Chrome.. your enthusiasm for literally everything is heart warming. It's a big reason I keep coming back to your videos. You have such a lust for life and it's just nice to see. A lot of the time I am down and out for reasons I won't get into but when I tune into your videos, your positivity always leaves me feeling better by the end. So thanks for being you and doing what you do, Sir. Cheers!
Chrome!!! This hightop is almost what I have dreaming about!! A Transit with a wet bath & twin couches! Only need a little galley, but must have a microwave. You see, I used to drive e250s like Emi's, but window vans! Oh, how I miss being above the traffic & going to places like you were in today!!!!
Me too.... love a man and his dog who loves van life and travelling..wondering if your single 😉 new to your channel grateful I found it....safe travels and looking forward to your future adventure 🎉light & love from a woman and her dog 💃
Always the highlight of my day when I see your video pop up. I’m there with you every step of the way even though I’m in the UK. I love the look of Canada and want to visit one day but until then I have you and the legend that is Cruz the faithful hound. Thanks mate 👍
I live in Ontario close to the lowest point in Canada. There are so many natural wonders, kettle point for one. They have these round stones in the water, only other place is in Australia. Many parks, Muskoka and above that Algonquin park. Hope you are able to come to Canada. I hope to visit Great Britain, Scotland ,Ireland and my ancestors home land France.
Same here mate I'm from the UK and would love to travel around Canada it's a dream of mine to go Bow hunting over there this guy is definitely living a great life ✌👍🚙
Travel hack for the Fairmont hotel, you can get reservations to one of the like 5 restaurants inside. Then we just walked around and took elevators to the top floors for the views. Pretty cool place.
Banff springs hotel is $1400 per night and up because it’s high season … if you go in winter you will pay half that, some rooms are $500 per night. Also keep in mind this is a VERY old hotel and while it is maintained immaculately you can’t really change the size of the original rooms (that’s code to say the oldest rooms are small)
next time you’re in banff ⛰️ park for free at the train station 🚂 also most places in banff allow dogs including the banff springs hotel so take cruz with you for a walk 🐾 with your parks pass you can get in free at the cave and basin museum in banff too (free parking there too!) for a shower go to elevation place in canmore or the banff centre for the arts gym 🚿 😊
I just love your enthusiasm and devotion to your homeland. I've never felt that way about the country i live in but the beauty of my birth country of Greenland is probably up there if I understand you definition correctly. 😊
This has been one of my favorite videos not because necessarily what you're doing but the whole vibe you just look bright and light in this big van with all the windows. You just seem cage free versus been inside the barn all day I really like the van it's like you're living anyway take care
Curiosity got me. Fremont Hotel rates with taxes is $1075 to $3513 on Expedia. We went to Fremont Hotel back in the late 60s as a young teen. The area I remember as quite different. My parents had a travel trailer. We stayed in that somewhere up there. It was beautiful.
Yo, Chrome!!! You bring so much happiness to us viewers, despite all the tribulations you’ve endured. You always find a ray of sunshine to stoke your adventures. I love watching you get giddy about small things, hearing your upbeat commentary, and the way you treat us all as friends is a true testament to why we all love you and Cruzie Bear. Stay safe, bro. Can’t wait for your next video. ✌️
Why do so many RUclipsrs blast music suddenly that's several times louder than their voice? I have to keep turning the volume up and down. If we can hear their voice in the video we can hear the music at the same volume.
When I was a kid & traveled with my folks, I used to purchase silver charms and attach them to a charm bracelet. Took up very little room, but I still had the souveniers.
That drive to Jasper will blow your mind! We did it a long long time ago when it was new. You can get horse trail rides in Jasper, too. That was how I once rode by a moose (like 20 ft. away!). Thank you so much for sharing this trip. You bring so much happiness. I hope you stop by the Athabasca glacier...
Here in the Shawangunk Mtns., there is a Lake Minnewaska..by Mohonk Mountain House (a castle tool..Those Canadian Rockies made my jaw hit the floor w their Stunning Beauty 😍
What a beautiful little town and the views of the mountains and the lake are stunning! You look much more comfortable in the high top but kinda like a fish out of water since it’s not your usual home. Hopefully it will be fixed soon!🙏🏻🤞
It's always a pleasure to watch you. Your happiness comforts me in these difficult times (I live in France). Thank you for your videos. It allows me to project myself in my projects. Take care.
Long time viewer that only lives part time in a van for work. I get to do a couple of trips throughout the year from lack of funds. But getting to see the views so many others get a chance to see by watching your videos like this, it's something else. I'll get there one day. Keep on keeping Chrome!
I've done alot of service calls in Jasper driving from Edmonton. I never had a love for these views until seeing it through someone elses eyes. I forget people dont have this view everyday. It is a beautiful place,
I need the wilderness so bad I am craving it . I'm far south in north America it would take probably almost 2,000 miles to get where you are . I'm thinking about going to hit up the western states where there are amazing mountains and forest and desserts .
Thank you for taking us along on that beautiful scenic tour. That town of Banff was absolutely gorgeous and the mountains and water were breath taking. You are so darn lucky. Thanks Chrome. Poor Cruz I felt sorry for him sounding like he did on walk you could tell he had, had it. Take care and drive safe and can't wait fir more beautiful country. Don't have that in States that I know of.
Been watching your videos for a few weeks. Great stuff and your positive attitude is refreshing. Each day is an adventure and you roll with it. You forget everything.....love it. Safe travels and what else did you forget? Cheers
make sure you know the laws of Canada. just saying. many a U.S. citizen gets upset at the border. "I am an American!!!". is always my favourite entitled reasoning.
The Fairmont has a spa in the bottom of it called "willow springs" - you can go in for Twilight hours rates from 7 - 9 for like 30 bucks. you get full access to the spa. I totally recommend. Used to take girls on dates there.
Yay you got CHONIES 😂! Your whistling tone FIT THE ATMOSPHERE OF THAT SHOWER 🚿 🫣! Awesome ♥️ the adventure today you took us on perfect filming, music, editing as ALWAYS ✌️📹💯! That city the way it was set up the building structure wise fits the scenery.
“Uh oh I’m in trouble, damnit!”😂 you purchased a wonderful mug. beautiful drive into the park. The castle looks worth the stay in the future for sure 👍🏻
That van is large.. the shot of the back view in the parking lot.. wow! The views while driving were fantastic. It was nice to see you standing in your temporary home. Cruzie seemed to like sitting next to you... Thank You so very much!!!
LOVE Banff! Brings back memories from a few years ago. My ex says that neither of us can go back to Banff because it was such a great experience while we were together. I agreed, but now I'm not sure if I will hold up my end of the bargain!!
i live my adventures through you, i only wish i can get a van to travel and live the lifestyle locally. Thank you for sharing your life with us. it gives me hope and determinations to one day get my own. or maybe i can turn my suv into a home. hm.
Did a quick search for Banff castle hotel (aka Fairmont Banff Springs)...this weekend it's "only" about $1K/night USD before taxes and fees. BUT August is a little cheaper (about $100/night less)...high season end in mid-October and the prices drop a little more. Seems like the most expensive in the area. On a personal note, don't beat yourself up about what you forgot, enjoy this experience and imagine how happy you'll be when you get your REAL home back!
The company I worked for sent me to Calgary and Vancouver in 2010 or there about. Finished up in Calgary about noon and wasn't flying to Vancouver until the following day so I drove up to Banff. Oh my, what a drive. Without a doubt one of the most scenic rides I have ever had the pleasure of taking. I was planning on doing a cross-Canada RV run in 2020 but we know what happened to end that little party. Hoping we can get into Canada this fall and do Vancouver and Banff at that time. BTW, lived in Chicago the first time, now retired in Arizona.
Loving the Ford Transit! The steps for Cruzie are perfect. Lots of space, head room, great big bed, windows, everything put in drawers, big storage garage...total streamlined living. Needs a heavy duty suspension for off roading...but otherwise.
I absolutely agree. It's the same for me.
Me as well ❤

Need a stroller/ cart for Cruise for the summer !! When he has had it he can still hangout instead of going to the van…
Always the highlight of my day when I see your video pop up. I’m there with you every step of the way even though I’m in the UK. I love the look of Canada and want to visit one day but until then I have you and the legend that is Cruz the faithful hound. Thanks mate 👍

Ohh you gotta make the trip to Canada 🍁.... You will fall in Love... Also has so many Nature Hot Springs an waterfalls People are so Kind...
Same here mate I'm from the UK and would love to travel around Canada it's a dream of mine to go Bow hunting over there this guy is definitely living a great life ✌👍🚙
I totally agree with you on that, I check his RUclips channel every morning to see the new drop
4 minutes in..that view of the mountains and clouds…wow like a painting 😍
Travel hack for the Fairmont hotel, you can get reservations to one of the like 5 restaurants inside. Then we just walked around and took elevators to the top floors for the views. Pretty cool place.
I feel the same about souvenir shops. It's just something about them that makes me happy.
Your resilience and enthousiasm for everything life brings at you is warming to others. I enjoy this part of you when I watch your videos. Take care.
I have enjoyed the trip thus far..................thank you.

Chrome literally my whole family is in Canmore right now for my nephews wedding. Y’all probably crossed paths.
There is a shorter version of that van where you can put your bed side by side. Big tires, elevated suspension, 4x4 could be a nice new home
@@livinginavwvan207 Yes, you right but Ford vans are cheaper, probably, then Mercedes Benz and also AWD helping you in Backcountry.
That drive into Banff park is my favorite view in the whole world.
next time you’re in banff ⛰️ park for free at the train station 🚂 also most places in banff allow dogs including the banff springs hotel so take cruz with you for a walk 🐾 with your parks pass you can get in free at the cave and basin museum in banff too (free parking there too!) for a shower go to elevation place in canmore or the banff centre for the arts gym 🚿 😊
I was at Banff last week. I am from Texas. It also was the first time I was in a Tim Horn, and I have never had a fresh donut until now.
Chrome wearing a Matt's off road recovery hoodie! So cool!
We truly live in the most beautiful country in the world!!! Thanks for bringing us along Chrome........and the stand up model suits you!!!
I just love your enthusiasm and devotion to your homeland. I've never felt that way about the country i live in but the beauty of my birth country of Greenland is probably up there if I understand you definition correctly. 😊
Amen 😊

I love that you are a tourist ❤ and buy souvenirs 🎉
Was a student at the Banff Centre of Fine Arts, once upon a time. Thanks for the memories. Banff is amazing! Awesome van!
4:25 that was an amazing view of the sun on the mountain tops
Curiosity got me. Fremont Hotel rates with taxes is $1075 to $3513 on Expedia.
We went to Fremont Hotel back in the late 60s as a young teen. The area I remember as quite different.
My parents had a travel trailer. We stayed in that somewhere up there. It was beautiful.
I dig the sweatshirt.. Matt’s off-road recovery. Another of my favorite channels.

Well said!!
I think it's much easier to change in a high-top.
Omg Chrome, you look so happy and relaxed! Thank you for the tour of Baniff, what a beautifully clean little town.

Beautiful scenery! That was a really nice video!
It might not have been your original plan but WOW Banff and the Rockies … SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Well, I put Baniff on my list for sure. And that sweatshirt is awesome. Want.

The scenery was AWESOME!
CANADA is beautiful if I had a chance to stay longer I will never hesitate
Gotta feel so worry free in a new rig. No listening for new strange sounds is liberating.
Thank you Chrome! The mountains are awesome. Enjoy the week!!

Unreal up there! Next summer I'll be leaving Maine, crossing CA to Alaska. Kerp the video's coming. 👍
make sure you know the laws of Canada. just saying. many a U.S. citizen gets upset at the border.
"I am an American!!!". is always my favourite entitled reasoning.
Oh my, what beautiful scenery, my biggest concern is driving on the wrong side of the road, from Melbourne Australia lol
The Fairmont has a spa in the bottom of it called "willow springs" - you can go in for Twilight hours rates from 7 - 9 for like 30 bucks. you get full access to the spa. I totally recommend. Used to take girls on dates there.
Chrome that was the prettiest scenery ever. Thank You
Your videos so the most beautiful scenes. It looks like a picture in a magazine. Just breath taking
