Cherish that Mother of yours! I was very close to mine, for fifty odd years, and I miss her most. I could talk about anything to my mom, and she had something to say. That was a big surprise, when you pulled out one fork leg!! I've been off for a while, and back on for about a year, just ordered an "L-train", hope to see it soon. I hope you really enjoy that, I know I would, it looks and sounds great. Thanks for showing it off.
It was a lovely ending man. A really nice gesture. Mike Burrows showed me his single sided front forks, about 20 years ago at a show in London. He made some of the very first singe sided front and rear hubs for the Speedy Trike. A really good idea.
It was heart touching and heartbreaking at the same time to see Scotty on that bike. I can't imagine the emotional challenges he goes through off camera.
@@thenotoriousrvh6091 I mean for sure he can ride it like that, I even have a bike I ride all the time with that fit, but especially with his injury it seems like more clearance there would be good to have.
I have to get on my bike like that too. Never got my range of motion back after a hip and Femur replacement. Sweet bike tho! Always love seeing different build like this.
Greetings from Germany, hope you had a nice time. Every time I visited the USA it was awesome. Like the end of your video. Love the kind people and family’s like yours. Let alone the great farhersday gift. 👍 have a Great one. ☀️
yeah scotty!!!! - it looked like a fixed gear at first - riding fixed gears with a flip flop hub made soo much difference in my recovery - im finally fixed now but cant stop one !!!!!
That's awesome to see man!!! You look real comfortable riding that thing. The seat thing - you'll get used to. It's a pretty common thing for those style bikes. The more you ride it the less you'll hurt haha. Enjoy it Scott!!
Funny reading the replies to this comment... if your brakes are squealing, even on a new bike, you've got problems that need to be addressed. If it's a new bike, either you didnt bed the pads in or you contaminated the pads and/or rotor. If it's an older bike, it's usually contamination or glazed pads.
@@djjohnnymusic some brands of brake pads make more noise than others. Resin r quiet but go through em well quick. I like a Clarks brand sintered. Nice
Glad you are back in jersey Scotty lookin forward to all the new videos. The Florida videos were cool but I think you will have a awesome skatepark built in your dads back yard.
Belt drivetrains are very common on city commuter style bikes, they require a lot less maintenance when compared to a standard chain. Pretty cool design
Haven't watched a video in a while but i come back and not only can Scotty walk well, but he can drive, he can RIDE A FREAKING BIKE AGAIN, and big boy looks like a lion. Congrats on the progress Scotty. Get your hair cut big boy
I have this bike. it is one of my 6 bikes I have...yes. no quick release. but you can install the neck that has a secret tool kit compartment and easily unlatch that front wheel in 10 seconds. or turn the screws on the neck to loosen and it will fit then tale out and tighten up. it is as easy as a quick release
Beltdrives were normal for commuting bicycles when I was in Japan in the 90s. No rust, no maintenance. Can leave them outside in the rain at the train station.
I'm glad C'dale put proper CDX range (read - alu front, stainless rear) belt drive comps instead of cheaper plastic teethed CDN, so common now on many urban style bikes.
First time seeing this channel and it's wholesome and good! Great job including your close-knit friends and family! That's an awesome bike and looking forward to seeing it put through some testing.

This is some good wholesome content. Scotty looks stoked on this new bike
@Cyclone Bravo Still rocking a monster hat tho. No way we could know the sponsorship situation thats not really our business either.
Cannondale is truly amazing at their bikes. That bike is so different from any other bike
Warms my heart to see bmx dudes stoked about a practical bicycle for grown folks. Love the gates and the internal hub.
Looks a size too big though.
I can feel the excitement of you getting this new bike, and all the setup your way. Great experience...
Dude...Awesome way to make up for being gone on Father's Day. Big Scott is a kind man and your a amazing son. Love ya guys.

So good seeing Scotty smiling and pedaling a bike. You should get padded shorts. Maybe look into getting a tray rack for the bike.
Big boy needs petal extenders so maybe he'll land more trick that will involve his feet leaving the pedals lol seriosuly though OBB TRY IT!
It was heart touching and heartbreaking at the same time to see Scotty on that bike. I can't imagine the emotional challenges he goes through off camera.
I love how he has a lefty and a belt chain and he is stoked on the pedal extender
That cannondale is sweet. Glad you figured it out.
really awesome bike, but I think you'd be better with the next size down on the frame.
I see what you mean but his posture is bang on, had no issues stopping either!
Yep that frame is definitely 1 size too big. He should have about 2" between the crotch and top tube. Looks like he might have maybe 1/2" if lucky.
@@thenotoriousrvh6091 I mean for sure he can ride it like that, I even have a bike I ride all the time with that fit, but especially with his injury it seems like more clearance there would be good to have.
The bike is WAY too big for him.
Your so inspirational Scotty, you are probably my favourite rider of all time
HEY BIG SCOTT ! You are a great dad I love how Scotty knowns not to bother when you are working jaja Saludos desde Argentina!
Wagons always look good with a big ole Thule wind deflector on the front of the roof rack 👍
Oh so rad he has a cannondale now,I used to own a full suspension f series 29ner with lefty loved the thing with a passion
I have to get on my bike like that too. Never got my range of motion back after a hip and Femur replacement. Sweet bike tho! Always love seeing different build like this.
Lol Scotty has the best attitude about everything. Kids if your watching and you want someone to look up to Scotty is the man.

Scott, super easy fix to your transport issue. Just go to Seasucker and pick up rack that works for both cars.... Done!! Best of luck Brutha!

Want to try and have big boy flared my Chopper 05 Schwinn manta ray I spray painted the walls of the tires White looks so good
Litty
Big Scott ur a legend and a great dad 👍🏼👍🏼
Cool bike, though I like how BK put his greasy hands all over the rotor. And now it squeals under braking.
Every Brake squeals in their first ride.
Fire burns oil. So ya just add fire.
my brakes squeak a bit, even after being wiped with brake clean.

Nice bike! I enjoyed how wary bigboy was of the future too.

I'd think you'd do well on an e-bike!
Also, get that world's best bike mechanic of yours to sort out those brakes, please!
It’s an oled display. It’s dope. It means that the screens blacks are actually shut off light
hey scot, isnt a seat dropper post a idea>? when ur riding u can put the seet up and down with the flick of a switch
I think a medium with a dropper would have been perfect...
I thought this too!!
Or maybe just a smaller frame as a whole
So happy for you Scotty
Welcome home and thanks for the positivity.
I’d like a bike with a seat like the old tractors had
You could forsure make one of those into a bike seat.
Glad your happy Scott your amazing.
I'm glad C'dale put proper CDX range (read - alu front, stainless rear) belt drive comps instead of cheaper plastic teethed CDN, so common now on many urban style bikes.

that belt is crazy. i used to work on ski lifts and those are the same belts that make the chair go around the terminal when you load/unload.
Good job scotty, he was really lucky 👍🏻👍🏻
When BK talks to Scotty he uses a high pitched voice its funny as hell.
