Actually no, I used to watch F1 for way more then just the sound. As a matter of fact, I stopped watching (sort of) in 2013. The racing just wasn't there. It wasn't what motorsports is supposed to be. But the lack of a decent sound just makes it worse. And how can a racing fan not understand the importance of the sound. The vibrations, the rumbles, the theater, the atmosphere. Without a loud, emotional sound, a racing series just isn't the same. I like Formula E, but they definitely need to do something about that, because it just feels lacking. This series has close racing, and an amazing sound. On top of that, why would you call it stupid? I could easily say that commenting on peoples opinions, and calling them stupid is stupid, but I don't. It's an opinion.
This is my new F1. If we can keep this sound, and go green at the same time, I'm happy.
