- Located about an hour south of Indianapolis, IN, Bloomington is a beautiful city with a great downtown area and is home to Indiana University. I take a walk in the downtown area by the Monroe County Courthouse, check out the farmer's market, and walk around the campus of Indiana University.
I used sell vegetables at the farmers market!! I have forgotten where it is. Please let me know what it is now!

I went to school there in 1985 and again in 1990-1. You passed by Ernie Pyle Hall where I worked in the journalism library and took most of my classes. And The Village Deli is still there! Thanks for the memory jog!

bloomington is a nice place but the thought of bloomington comes with the thought of my schooling experience at highland park the teachers there gave me a lot of story's to tell...

I wonder how much construction you ran into in the area, since I-69 is being built currently through Bloomington.
It wasn't too bad. I didn't run into any road work until I got into the Bloomington area on SR 37 where the future I-69 will come through. Thankfully traffic was not too bad as it was a Saturday when I drove down there.
***** That's good. I was thinking that road patterns may be a little wacky with a highway being built.
9:10 the first methodist church building wasnt built in 1818 but the group there was formed in 1818
