    One of the smallest and subtle parts about Lins game that I love...Just watch him near the end of the game. To where he takes the marker from Mchale and starts to draw X's on the clipboard for his teammates telling them what they should be doing.
    That's the sign of an individual that is a leader, not a follower. Alot of other "higher profile" players don't even make that attempt.
    He needs more playing time, the dude is LEGIT. Why in the world aren't they giving him more time. His numbers would be vastly better if he got it.

    It never seems to work when other guards post up against Lin. I remember Westbrook made a fade away shot when he posted up against Lin, last year. Other then that, Lin shuts them down. But they keep thinking In their head they can have success down low against him. JLIN is a good overall defender.

    Tina, many thanks for your video game.
    I appreciate Jeremy is improving a lot in most of the games. Keep healthy to support your skills development in the games. Besides good passes,do more shooting with confidence when any chance arisen in the next game. I pray for Jeremy being a complete player in the future.

    Once again Rockets blown a 25 point lead into a 5 point deficit. Why they do that all the time? Ariza was killing it with 10 from the 3 point range and look like unstoppable until he got fouled out along with two bigs. Ha, ha Lin was drawing the last play while McHale could only watch. Lucky win against a team with not a very good record and back to back game on Houston’s home court - could have gone either way.
    I wouldn’t go against Lin, Clyde (based on eye test) would have lost that bet. Both Lin and Wall are super fast. Lin beats Wall on average speed and initial acceleration. Wall beats Lin on top speed and side-to-side movement.

    • @calvind77able
      @calvind77able 10 лет назад +1

      no offense, but wall is just faster than Lin period...in acceleration average and top speed....and this is coming from a die hard jeremy lin fan

    I've been a basketball fan for about 30 years. I think I have enough knowledge to know racism against Jeremy Lin exists from his high school days to Harvard to now (just look at playing time and all the hate comments from yahoo, espn, etc. because of his race). I will not apologize for rooting for Lin because of his upbringing, his race, and the barrier he is trying to break. Imagine if a white American with great upbringing were born in China and played decently in a professional ping pong league in China, wouldn't the white people in China and in the US want him to do well?
    Because of Jeremy Lin's popularity, more people are aware of racism against Asian men in America. It gives us a platform to discuss, unite and find solutions to eliminate the verbal, mental, and physical abuse of other races. WE are being picked on because we are different, have a history of conflicts with the US from our native or ancestor lands, and we rather show with our actions to change others' perceptions than to speak out (easy targets). Those Americans that are educated, open-minded, and have good parents will not be racist toward us, but those belong to a small number.
    We need to UNITE and look beyond our past differences because we share the same pain: Americans lump us together under the same stereotypes; media depict us as nerdy, lacking social skills, and good at kung-fu; placed us low in the physically attractiveness category; and abuse us verbally, mentally and physically. Stand up for your Asian BROTHERS, support one another if you encounter hate in public and online. Let build a stronger bond for Asian men living in America. We are all we got. Let's make a change for future generations of Asians living in America.

    Clyde doesn't believe something that was measured, and recorded officially, because he just can't accept it that JLin, an Asian, can be faster than a black No.1 draft pick.
    Ariza scored so many points because Harden's lack of D. The game shouldn't have been so close if Harden can play a little more D.
    When Jlin stopped Ariza from posting him up twice, Clyde just said "Ariza is not a post up player". He never gives any credit to JLin's D.
    Comparing JLin and Harden's D, I really think Clyde has some hate toward Lin.
    I just can't stand Clyde's comment. I don't know that is just me or not..

    I watched the full game. I don't think Jeremy was playing his best. The energy and confidence seemed missing. Weird. But I loved the last defense of the Rockets. They made an excellent defense, in my view.
    By the way, weren't they trying a new half court tactic? Compared with previous games, in this game, James Harden initiated most attacks instead of Jeremy. What do you guys think?

    i definitely think Jeremy Lin plays better when he's a definite starter. With Harden being a bit of a ball hog and Kevin McHale giving Beverley most of the minutes, Jeremy barely has a chance to earn points and improve his shooting. McHale should go back to using Jeremy as a starter and take out James Harden because I've noticed Lin and Beverley work pretty well together.

  • @r2153

    clyde the racist Drexler doesn't believe an Asian American basketball player (JLIN) can have a quicker first step, be a better driver, be faster and quicker then a black basketball player, in this case, John Wall.
    Racism: the belief that some races of people are better than others.
    Even though the scouts were there and said it, clyde "the racist's" tiny little closed mind will never accept it.
    Just for the record, I am a black man.

      I don't know if anyone heard that.....but during the game....clyde just said Wizards is top 5 team in NBA....so.....he is just a dumb ass...

    • @Alphonse670
      @Alphonse670 10 лет назад

      John Wall is obviously faster than Jeremy. He is more athletic and more likely to be biologically faster. It's not racism, its fact. Have any Asians won 100 m sprints at the Olympics? No, mostly black people win those events . Jeremy doesn't seem like an overly athletic guy. So, it's highly likely John Wall is faster than Jeremy Lin.

      @Alphonse670 10 лет назад

      ***** Your talking about defense. I guess Jeremy used his smarts to play better defense, which involves footwork, angles and anticipation. But when talking fast and athletic, Wall is better. Here is another argument. Who do you think based on genetics has the more superior athletic talent? Who do you think has logged my hours on training their body through exercise? On both counts I would say Wall, as Lin has a Havard degree in Economics, which I personally believe is a good accomplishment. But, I'm pretty sure Wall is much faster than Lin. I admit I could be wrong, but it's unlikely.

  • @weltec2

    "with an improbable win"? Really? Was it really improbable? If JH had played D would it really have been improbable? This should not even have been close... and it would not have been if McHale were really coach enough to rein in JH... This would never have happened.
