Awesome quick start guide, and very simply explained. 👏 I kinda knew the thing with the framematching before you explained it, but I didn’t know it was called like this. Since I started listening to electronic in my early teenage years, I noticed this 1/2/3/4 pattern from the tracks, probably even earlier. Those Technics turntables are freakin’ expensive, by the way, but they’re well worth it if you’re an audiophile and an electronic music enthusiast who respects himself. Great job and thank you! 🙏
Thanks for explaining the basics!I did not get the 2 ND part of it!It s a more clearer to me at this point!I learnt on cdj a long time ago...and thought that ppl will not consider vynils at these time but I see most of real djs appreciate them!It s probably the best to start mixing on vynils!
@@brawk8780 would appreciate any tips you can give me on mixing house on vinyl. I got two technics (1210 mk2 and 1200 mk5). I have a pretty strong selection of house music as I’m an avid collector. Having trouble locking down the mixes.
Hey man! I just got a pair of audio technica and a omnitronic rotary but I have never really mixed with a rotary😅 any tips on that? Ik it’s basically the same but I have a problem quite understanding it. Really good video 🫶🏽
If the beat Moves out of sink to far start again straight away. Just pitch try again. Match with record hand then pitch adjustment so on intill fine tune
i have mk5 g, how do you find the pitch on them? accuracy? I can cue mine up perfect but come to send off there can be a quick change either faster or slower compared to how I had it cued, wonder if you had any similar experience
I find the pitch ok on mine and cues seem to be ok when mixing but some times they can go out of time but only slightly. When I first got them it took a while for the pitch slider to loosen up.
u dont have to adjust speed if they are at the same bpm, u just have to beatmatch (align the beats) but u can also beatmatch via pitch riding (look it up)
Similar . You can beat match mid phrase and it will sound bad . Like imagine abruptly cutting a singer off mid sentence or bring another one in that clashes.
One part i dont understand. You said both reckrds have the same speed aka bpm, why do you have to adjust the speed when both records have the same speed?
Shogun audio & Hospital! Good choice brother!
Thank You for the knowledge. Simply put, therefore comprehaodable. Also the records are amazing.
I'm a rider and platter brusher. I can have two tracks I've not heard before locked in 5 seconds on 1200 MK2's. Ive been at it for 34 years! Good vid.
Why are you on quick tips video for beginners then?

Nice video! You’re just telling the essential crucial stuff, very helpful thanks!
Thank you for kind words!
Awesome. Great video. Vinyl the best.
Awesomeeeeeeee
Quite frankly, it can’t be taught. You need the desire and passion to learn.
And good pattern recognition
Best vid on RUclips in regards to mixing house
Thank you

Take your time and keep practising. Start with some basic house vinyl and just keep mixing those tracks. It will click eventually. Don’t give up 👍🏻
Cool

really nice vid mate - cheers
Thank you
Concentrate only on new record beat. Pick a sound that stands out from other record aswell

Seem easy but tough for the beginner ...how we can know the next song is more or less bmp... and pitching for matching is tough
Start with house because it’s four to the floor it’s easy to tell the bpm quickly and they’re always in similar ranges. You’ll learn it quick 👌🏻
I do all of this but still I mess it up and can't even do it and it sounds like a crash of beats.
I thought you were a Norwich boy 😊
M5g! ❤

Beat matching and phrase matching looks like it’s exactly the same… 🤔 Or, did I miss something?

Big video do you still mix mate
Thank you , yes still mix but not as much as I should!
@@brawk8780 will u any new beat matching video
Yes will try and upload one soon for everyone
what record is on the left?
Record on the left is brown sugar - are you ready
One part i dont understand. You said both reckrds have the same speed aka bpm, why do you have to adjust the speed when both records have the same speed?
The tempo of the music goes up and down as the track progresses also the driver likes to slow itself down which makes it really fidgety
