thanks for this I just wished I watched this one before I started mine. the small primers I had not problem. but when switched to large I had big problems the wouldn't feed at all and then when I finally got them in the tube as in 1 at a time with a plastic stick to poke them ( I didnt try bending the tube though ) they wouldnt exit the tube either ( this was the tube end though Dillon came like it just miss shaped ) at this time I was pulling my hair out. so emptied the press xl750 some was ok in the primer feeder some would fly off ?? . and then tried Federal OMG what a difference . yes it was Winchester Magnum pistol primers . Lucky I only have 200 left so I will hand prime them like Ive been doing for the last 15 years before buying a Dillon XL750.
yes some of this wasn't Double Alpha issue and is down to the primers . I just whish they had put a note in the box informing that some brands work better and list the ones that don't / avoid .
I was going to re-try the Winchester primers but after this I wont bother and are thinking about just binning them LOL or just use them for when one just goes missing.

Not a great demonstration.....I bought one recently. Took about 3 primer trays for me to get the hang of it. Don't rush, let the primers fall into line in more or less single file (as they get close to primer hole), so they fall smoothly into the tube. Any time the primers form a bunch, it just slows the whole process down. They should have stuck to circular striations on flip tray, as the parallel lines don't really work as well as expected. Overall, worthwhile purchase and a great timesaver.

Just bought this primer filler, Sep 2023. I was happy to see that they have switched to circular striations on the flip tray. I debated on the filler primer pro collator or the Dillon RF-100 but I couldn't be more pleased with this product. It works, the learning curve is easy and fast, and the cost is worth it.
