Thank you for watching! Tell me about your homeschool writing journey. I know I'm not the only one who's had a hard time finding the right fit for our family.
We started using this program this year with my 3rd and 6th grader. It has detailed explanations for each step as to examples and expectations and rubric. There are no worksheets although i have copied and pasted some of the appendix pages. My 3rd grader is working slowly through it, he has gotten through 2 steps, my 6th grader is going faster and is on step 6. My boys have already shown progress. The 3rd grader is writing more than he has ever written. The 6th grader is more organized. We've tried multiple programs (writeshop, EIW, bookshark, writing and rhetoric) and I am really loving this program and i can totally see how it can last until grade 12.
I just ordered this after watching videos and reading the free samples for hours! So excited!! This looks like exactly what my 6th Grader needs!!! Love to hear your updates on it 😊
I have a super mini-review in my upcoming video (it should be out tomorrow). But my oldest son loves it, and his writing has improved by leaps and bounds since we started using it in January.
We love TGTB language arts and they do most of the writing in high school!!! They teach it from 3rd grade tho!!! I feel a few essays each year before high school is enough!!! I love simple and easy as well!!! I love using cross curriculum writing to make things easier!!! Our TGTB language arts paper I told my twins to change the subject to their science paper!!!
Hi Ashley! We are loving it. My son's writing has improved greatly, and he likes it because he can write on any topic he wants using the writing format. At the end of the year I plan on doing a follow up video on Write by Number. Thanks for watching!
Same exact boat with my 7th grader! I am focusing on spelling for now after a failed NaNoWriMo attempt. 🤣 but I’ll be eagerly awaiting to hear what you think!! (I have a 5 and 9 year old as well! So would be amazing to combine) He hated the EIW and IEW videos so I’m not sure what to try next. 😵💫
The "worksheets" are included in the books listed under the Appendix. Just photocopy them to use. Also, Laurena has detailed videos on her website that goes over the layout and how to use the curriculum writebynumber.com/ and I think it may also be on her youtube channel as well www.youtube.com/@writebynumber6367

That's so awesome! I've tried pretty much everything as well with my kids, so fingers crossed that this curriculum is what we've been looking for.

Hope your kid enjoys it! My 7th grader actually likes it, so that's a win in my book. I'll definitely post an update at the end of the year.
I would love an update on how you are getting on with ttis curriculum

Looks like a great program. Gonna have to check it out more! Thanks for sharing.
My oldest son really likes it, and I've seen great improvements in just a month. Thanks for watching!

I agree about the essays in high school. A few each year is good enough!
I absolutely love your video style, editing, and calming presence 💕
Thank you so much!! 🥰
Thanks for the flip through and ideas!😊 Looking for something for my 10 year old son.
You are so welcome!
Hey Xuan! I'm looking at this again and wondering how you are liking the curriculum?

My kid hated those videos, too 😆 I'll definitely make a follow up video at the end of the school year.
Where do you find the "worksheets that may help you"? Does it come with worksheets?
