As much as the endgame required playing Rampage Quests (from what I heard), I enjoy playing through these quests. Unless it was Apex Zinogre at the end.
Night parade of a hundred of monsters. If you search this It Will appear a song with the name of "Night parade of a hundred Demons", basically the Rampage of rise is also a reference of the japanese culture
@@utomoaditya2095 , if memory serves, "yokai" translates as "strange thing". Considering so many of the new monsters in Rise make reference to yokai (Izuchi with kamaitachi, Aknosom as the umbrella yokai I can't remember the name of, Tetranodon with kappa, Bishanten with... my guess is a nue of sorts, Magnamalo as a samurai ghost and possibly hitodama, Narwa and Ibushi being Raijin and Fujin respectively), the Night Parade kind of fits.

Imagine a rampage mode in Monster Hunter 6 but with every "common" monsters from all previous games. The rampage "Leader" could be Elder Dragons, more specifically their Tempered/Risen variant.
It ended up not very well liked because it was the best way to grind HR in base rise, so you were pretty much forced to do a huge number of these to make progress, and the repetitiveness of it grated on alot of people. I think if they brought it back for Sunbreak, but didn't put such a giant emphasis on it, it wouldn't have been hated.
This is true. I feel like they could have expanded upon the apex monsters, maybe added armor to farm from them, etc. I dropped rampage as soon as I was done customizing some of the weapons (which I then stopped using in Sunbreak).
I think it would have been so amazing if the apexes kept their theme even outside of the rampage quests. It would have made them more unique and straight up even cooler than they already are.
At first I thought this too, but after listening to the Apex theme several times, I began to think otherwise. Listen to the theme. What is it expressing? To me, the Apex theme is from not only the Hunter's prospective, but everyone in the village fighting the monsters and their shock of this new and extremely powerful variant of previously known monsters. I would think if it were to be a 100% monster theme, then it would sound much more violent. This part 4:43 is definitely not from a monster perspective. It's the villagers discussing strategies with each other. Or the villagers doubting if they would be able to defeat the Apex, but then putting trust on the Hunter (or to each other). Their newly found resolve strengthens their courage, like how the music starts swelling up at 4:57, until full on bursting at 5:27, expessing LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOO. This part sounds too "heroic" to be the monster's theme; especially considering the fact that it's not a theme for a single monster. If think about it like that, it makes sense that the theme doesn't play outside of the rampage - It's the villagers' theme, not the Apex's. So, even if I know it's overkill, but I think that when you fight an Apex in a normal hunt, it should have a separate theme from fighting it in rampage mode. It just doesn't feel right that it doesn't have it's own special music, especially since Apexes are just knock-offs of Deviant monsters from XX, and they got their own -(mediocre)- theme.
I hear people say everything about this mode is garbage. But I don't see it... yeah apex Azuros was tough and a bit annoying but other than that I have tons of fun playing this. Even on my own which is what I did with all the story required ones and first time encounters with each apex and ibushi.
I honestly did like this mode. I played it from time to time and with a friend it was a really cool experience.

I think on japanese it's a demon or ghost (yokai) not monster but yeah this is monster game not demon so it make sense

Despite how I feel about the rampage, the music definitely goes so hard
The only thing I don't like in Sunbreak is not having anymore new quest that plays the Rampage/Apex themes lol
I hope at some point later in the future Title updates they introduce 1 Master rank Rampage quest just for old time's sake

Wonderfully done Dravonista! Really wish rampages panned out better, such a cool concept.
Red roaming roar is one of the best endgame themes in MH.
For real, i think they perfected the endgame monster theme, since the older ones are good...but after like 3 hunts they get so old and repetitive

Thanks so much
