Maddie I doubt you will see this sweetheart but I just want to say that as a 37 yr old mother of three kids who are almost 14, 16, and 18 (my youngest starts her freshman year of high school next month!) you’re a true inspiration to ME!!
My daughter and I talk about our fears of her starting school and how things like this happen far too often and could happen at her school, she’s very scared of that! And to be honest so am I! But I don’t want her to be frozen in fear and to pull her away from living her life and making memories life is too short as it is! I want my children to be able to look forward to school and growing up and learning new things and just be excited for their future but atrocities such as these make it very hard for anyone to feel excited when you’re always trying to watch your surroundings in case someone decides to pull a trigger!
God bless you Maddie! And all those effected in the MSD school shooting and all the many many school shooting and other tragedies all over the world! Most recently….Uvalde!
I pray for all those involved
I’ve been keeping up with the trial and I hope justice is served in the way you all hope it is!
    Much love from Maryland!:

Exactly. There should be a documentary just on her story from her point of view starting with what was she doing with her making plans for the future then she almost died from ammunition meant for fighting in a war. These weapons need to be kept out of the hands of people who use it for their perverted thrill of it.

For Mrs. Wolford to say let's find the positive in this tragedy and it was divine intervention that her daughter was saved. Imagine how the other parents must feel who lost their children and don't get to sit up there next to their son/daughter. So what are they? Chopped liver? That is such an insensitive comment to make without putting emphasis that others didn't get to wake up the next day or get to hold their child ever again. Did God just pick and choose the "special" ones?
    Sickening.

The positive in thesis, although many were killed and that is devastating many survived because of the training & knowledge of those that showed up to help. As we now know when not prepared what can happen as in Uvalde! So this was a message sent years ago but schools still are not taking this serious. This can happen anywhere! Large, medium or small schools. All of these people have a large platform to promote now.

I've had 7 IO'S. 4 in the shin and 3 in the shoulder. The shoulder is preferred. For anyone who doesn't know, It's vein access in the bone. The needle is a 5 gauge, drilled in by a small hand drill. It's agonizing. But, when veins aren't accessible, the bone can act as a vein. Bones are hollow and the inside of them is absorbent. The shin hurts a tad bit more because it's basically breaking your bone and in a day or 2, you're walking on it.

May I say, NO, she can go fishing out in the middle of a big lake, doesn’t have to do anything but focus on herself. If volunteering or other helps her heal mentally great but no survivor is obligated to do anything. When it happened to me at ST.Pius X High School in Nepean Ontario Canada in 1975, I just wanted to be left alone because I couldn’t relate to anyone else as in parents or grief counselors, they didn’t see the Visual or Audible Imprint of the shooting in me, and I have enjoyed a really great life. But every single time I hear of yet another school shooting I go straight back 46 years to my classroom reliving it.... you never forget every second....

Where was the protective care of their god towards the 17 who were slaughtered? And for Maddy's mother, where was the divine guidance towards those who died?
