- In todays video we install Mustang style DRL's on my friends car. Also, we upgraded his head lights & Fogs lights with xenon depot Xtreme LED bulbs. They are the exact same ones that I have on my car. I wanted to make this video because there aren't very many install videos on this particular modification. The ones we found where in Chinese and of course weren't very helpful. I hope you all find this video helpful. I like the way this EX-T looks now! Thank you all so much for watching! Mine lasted for 1 month and the right side led chip started flickering. Where did you purchase yours and what brand are they?
My buddy got his from eBay..
Did any of you guys get the radar obstructed after installing them later on ? The dealer said it’s because the plastic is covering the sensor if so any recommendations fixing it ? Maybe an r4 blocker or making a whole through the plastic so the sensor could read it

Hey dude, just some advice, next time just use wiretaps/t-taps. It keeps you from having to cut the wire and they're very sturdy.

Weird? My stang lights are run by they dlr lights so they are on as second dlr lights and they also turn yellow, orange for indication. Yours must be totally different ones than mine. Great video though. I had to learn from the Korean videos lol.

I have these on my '18 Civic EX-T and love 'em! Question tho - if I get both sets of these bulbs, I don't need anything else? And are you putting them in the low beam? I'm getting mixed information telling me I have to install ballasts with the LED bulbs for them to actually cast white instead of yellow. Thoughts??
I have the same car and same color. Just bought it last year. Do you have any recommendations on what I should do with it. Performance and exterior wise? I came from driving an RSX to a Civic so its a change for me.

Just curious why you would want the Mustang lights to come on with the fog lights and not the head lights :-) I want those but not confident enough to take the front end off myself :-) Look Fantastic :-)

The hardest put is taken the bumper off. After that it is smooth sailing and I would think so but I’d try to install with a friend first. Thanks for watching Rich.

I had a 2018 mustang convertible now got a 2018 civic ex-t and to put them light on it it just straight up wack i put some official light on infront and back that look crazy everyone stop me trying to get it on they car i tell only on a civic
Did the fog lights come with your purchase? Of the mustang drls. They dont seem to be included with the link on your video.

Do you have to install a switch to make these work? (Like a on and off switch inside)
They are installed to the factory wiring for the fogs.
@@TTorres1183 the thing is my wife's car didn't come with stock foglights so we got these to install.. I haven't tried installing them yet.. I just wanted to get an idea before hand

So do the mustang style lights come on only when you have the fog lights on or do they come on with the headlights as well? I really want to do this to my EX-T but I want them running the whole time the headlights are

Is that bumper the same as a LX sedan? I bought a fog light kit but I’m not sure if it will be the same. Meaning if it has a place to mount the lamp.
I believe so. The hardest part is the bumper removal.

All u have to do is splice into the actual DRLs from the car
I put some dlr lights on my hatchback and im having problems with it because is says in my dashboard that radar is obstructed and the brake sign apears like every 1 or 2 minutes

I installed on my 2020 civic sport sedan .... Now get this message some driver assist systems cannot operate radar obstructed.... The radar is directly behind the driver side mustang lights i installed... Any ideas? Can i move the radar?
Hey quick question bro did you have any problems a bit later on like with your Brake light adaptive cruise control ect. Did they turn on for you they turned on for me my mechanic managed to take a a few off but he said I would have to take it to the dealership so I went they said that the plastic part of these headlights were covering the sensors they said I have to take them off and put the stocks but the stocks are ugly so I will not be putting them ima try to find a way to fix it and talk to my mechanic about it aswell just wondering did you have the same issue or no

I want to get LED’s for my EX-L but I’ve hear that some LED’s can mess up your car you think that’s really true?

Something about the amount of energy they pull can sometimes cause some fuses to go out but to be honest I could be confusing them with HID’s lol
Yeah LEDs draw way less power...

I’m not sure when you said “cut outs” it seems that mine has fog shape plastic cover on it. I wonder if I can take it out and put fog light in it.
