Thank you so much! This is where I grew up from 1967 at 4 years of age until I moved away at 29 years old in 1992! Everywhere I went I walked, so passing the buildings where Carvel was located on the left hand side, then on the right, "Petrie's Five and Ten", and the old "Odd Lots" building, and where "Brewster Cake and Cookie" and "Mr. Pizza was located, and into the village seeing "Oxman's", "Bennie's", "Hope's Drug Store", and out of the town was "Kobacker's", and then after you turned around, that deli (can't remember the name) on the right hand side heading towards Carmel, brought back so many great memories and I only WISH I could be back there again! If you kept driving about 4 more miles, I remember "Barker's" department store, Szechuan Royal Chinese restaurant, Movie theatre, The best pizza at the time was at Segretti's Pizzeria, the "Ben Franklin Store".... oh man that was so great to see. I'm sure none of these stores are there anymore, but they will always be there in my mind. Thanks again!
Carvel was still there when I left and so was Kobackers and Bob's. The Chinese place in the village was called Beijing Garden by then, but same people.
Brewster Superette was the deli on the right near the end. Great Arthur Ave bread was delivered there everyday. I lived in Brewster from 1969 aged 5 to 1988. Visit every year.
Grew up in Brewster and miss it often. Thanks for the nostalgia!

Can you please do a video of schenectady ny thanks
I’m planning on doing videos of the Albany area in the near future, I’ll make sure to do Schenectady while I’m up there 👍 stay tuned.
Brewster was home from 1962 to 1981. Has not changed much.
Changed a lot in terms of demographics.
I'm sorry it's not the same people in the area call it Brewster Rico. It's not the town you left and it's a shame. The damage is done.
I grew up in Brewster ny it was awesome till the Rich people and illegal immigrants showed up
When did that happen? What were the causes?
Illegals swarmed in around 1992. All over Main Street. Upper middle class came in late 90s. Miss the place
