- Dullahan solo with Jenna at level 39 in Golden Sun The Lost Age. No summon rush, no psynergy seal, no items, and no cheats/hacks/glitches. As far as I know, this is the first ever Dullahan solo on the internet.

Strategy Explanation:
The real challenge of this fight was constructing a move rotation to perfectly counter Dullahan's move rotation. It must dodge Djinn Storm, deal enough damage to counteract his healing, cause him to cast Break twice, and survive the rest of his attacks.
My very first attempt was simply an attempt to survive. I used Felix with the Dragoon class. I used this rotation: Haze, Flash, Megaera, Heal, Haze, Flash, Megaera, Heal. That is probably the most effective survival method, however, it dealt very little damage; around 1100 per cycle. Dullahan regenerated an average of 1687. I had to use at least two summons in my rotation, because summons give you buffs, which entices Dullahan to use Break. Furthermore, those summons must be spaced apart so that he doesn't cancel both buffs with one break. I also had to use either Haze or Ground on turn (1). The issue is that I have to use two moves to summon, two moves to heal, and 4 Djinn for damage reduction. 8 moves in an 8 turn rotation.
There is a way around that however. Lull and Kite effectively give you an extra move each. Lull skips his turn, but it doesn't cause him to skip those moves. If I can use Lull and Kite twice each rotation, then I'm effectively getting 12 moves per rotation. My strategy in this video summons 6 Djinn per rotation, whilst having just barely enough healing to survive. It also dodges his 2nd Break, allowing the buff to Jupiter power from one Procne to carry over to the next Procne, increasing its damage by 303. That's extremely important, because even with the Feathered Robe (+20 Jupiter power) and Leda's Bracelet (+30 Jupiter power) boosting Jenna's damage, she only outdoes his healing by 304 per rotation. That's why the fight takes two hours. 16000/304 = 52.6 rotations. That’s over 500 turns (counting Lull as its own turn). "Warrior" Adepts don't have access to any great Jupiter power boosting items. I tried multiple strategies involving 3 summons, and even 4 summons, using Lull and Kite 3 times each. The strategies were extremely powerful, but also required higher levels.
The ONLY ways to increase your summon damage are to increase your elemental power, or reduce enemy resistance. The maximum elemental power/resist is 200. All adepts have 5 elemental levels in their natural elements. Isaac has 5 Venus levels, Garet has 5 Mars levels, etc. Each djinn set to an adept adds one elemental level, of the same element as that djinn. Each elemental level adds 5 power, and 5 resistance for that element. With zero elemental levels, adepts have 76-78 power, and 86-88 resistance. You can add more elemental power/resistance by equipping gear that has those bonuses. Also, using a summon will increase your elemental power during the fight. If you were to use this same strategy with the same gear at level 99, it would deal the same amount of damage, because leveling up doesn't affect elemental power/resist.
And so, Dullahan has been solo'd before level 40. I think it's a pretty much unbeatable record without hacks or perfect level ups, but who knows? It may be possible to do with Felix at level 34, if you're willing to have a fight lasting several thousand turns.
Now I've seen Isaac solo against Fusion Dragon... And Ivan solo againsy Saturos and Menardi... But never did I once imagined a solo against Dullahan... This is just insanely impressive
the things thats impressive isnt the fact thats its a solo run because if you grind to level 99 its probably not that hard, nor the fact that they did it at a low level because with a good strategy or hy spamming summons its still very easy. ITS THE FACT THAT ITS BOTH THAT MAKES IT INSANE
Now that's what I could consider as a nice strategy... I hear a lot of people just summon-rush him, which I found quite disapointing, but there you just found the perfect pattern to follow, what I could call a true strategy, to beat him at a low level AND with only one character,.

When I played this in middle school (I was 11), I tried and tried so many times to defeat this guy and just couldn’t! One day I thought “what’s If I just summon all my Dijins and bombard him” I think I was just left with Felix with the last Eclipse summon and boom! He was defeated! I was a little sad that it took less than a minute to defeat him. Kinda didn’t want to save the game. Oh well, I was little and finally glad I was able to kill him

This must be why Jenna never appeared in Dark Dawn. Her power was simply too great to be contained.

I think compared to all the Mars Adepts she is really strong, i think just Behind Saturos and Menardy, and that also explains why Matthew is so Freakin good in Dark Dawn, being Isaac and Jenna's son is like being a powerhouse just by existing.

Thanks to everyone for the comments! I just realized that I could have equipped the Swift Sword, which adds 10 Jupiter power. Would have been dealing an extra 100 damage per cycle, and it would've saved me about 25-30 minutes in the fight.
I'm working on the Doom Dragon solo, although it could be a long time, because I might have to play through the game from the start again, because I don't have saves at a low enough level.
Did you ever manage to do that? I'd imagine it would be almost impossible, as Djinni Storm is RNG-based, unlike Dullahans moveset so you can't predict it.
@@GoldenSunAlexThankfully RNG in this game is not frame-based, but instead based on the moves you use. From a hard reset, if you use the same moves every time the RNG will be the same every time. Using that you can manipulate the RNG to your advantage to dodge all Djinn Blast/Storm rolls.
…at least in theory. Certain actions move the RNG up a certain amount, and not all of those are healing, so there’s a chance that no RNG routes lead to success.
@@BoltTheEmolga What I meant is the order that the Djinni get blasted by Djinni Storm.
@@GoldenSunAlex You can use RNG manip, or Haze/Lull in worst case scenario, to avoid being hit by Djinn Blast/Storm in the first place. So the order in which they recover doesn’t matter.

It's not a boss you can manip unlike dullahan.

what i can say about whatching this... i don´t know, but one thing i know, it´s fucking BEATIFUL TO SEE, this video remember my fight with star magician, i felled him with felix and piers more than a decade ago, it wasn´t solo but for me was the thoughest battle in my life while playing some game, after see this video, i could remember how i really love golden sun, thx dude ;)

I managed to do the 4 ronin strategy, the 4 adept strategy with Jenna as a witch, summon rush, and felling dulla with an offensive djinni, but not that!
I have hacked my game to fight dulla at the minimum level using the 8 adepts.

Dullahan must've been sweating pretty hard after the first hour of the fight.
Years ago, I tried doing a hard mode Sheba single character challenge for the entire game and got walled by Doom Dragon. The random djinn storms combined with its %HP-dealing special moves (like summons) make it so that death is possible even with heavy grinding. And Sheba can't even learn pure ply, which makes matters even worse. Even with 30 potions and 30 vials it just takes one bad move combo to die, especially when its HP gets low. I still need to revisit that save file to figure out a method to beat it.
But if there is one person who could do it, it's probably Dyrati.

Damn!! I tried to keep my level low during my play-through, but I had to keep redoing over and over again. I binge gamed Golden Sun back in 2020, I believe, during COVID. Maybe in 2021. Never played Dark Dawn, though. Will try it out soon!

I did it the normal way, using a password from my save file in GS1. There were no cheats

I am so embarrassed at the fact that you can solo Dullahan with Jenna.
The reason why, is because even at the fact that I was Level 99 in golden sun The lost age (Yes I am a cheater.) I always get my butt handed to me but dullahan. I see RUclipsrs get spared by this Betch. He always spams Djinn storm. Which is not great.
