    I am just astounded on the amount of pushback on this topic. I can remember when I was a Freshmen at Bible College in 1990, how my Old Testament professor looked at me like an alien from Mars when I asked him about Aramaic and its usage during Jesus’ day. He scoffed at me and told me that I should study Greek and go under the New Testament Department because everything was Greek. I sorely disagreed with him then and continued to now. The power of politics and gross orthodoxy has blinded so many of believers to grapple with real history and truth. Thank you so much for your hard labor and perseverance! Father will use you to unify the Body in significant ways during these next 7 years (2021-2027).

    Love your videos Mr. Roth, I'm excited to buy your edition of the bible, this research is so important, I feel I'm led here as my spirit has been leading me to understand the syriac eastern versions, that something was missing to the puzzle, that the whole of messianic Judaism(christianity) couldn't have been wholly infiltrated by Roman hands and greek thought

      Many are owned by the British Library and are available online, some are in the Vatican Library. I imagine there are more elsewhere, but I’m not sure off the top of my head.

    I would like to know why you don't think Sha'ul spoke and wrote Greek. I don't remember if you said he spoke it. But being from Tarsus, he most like did. That doesn't mean he could write it, but he was educated and I'd say it's more likely that he did than he didn't. Love your stuff.

      The Israelites in Tarsus spoke Aramaic with each other and for their religious activities. They used Greek when talking to non-Israelites, and trading in the city.

    They are lying about the Peshitta on Wikipedia. Saying NT Peshitta was translated from Greek.

      Shalom, J.
      Andrew Gabriel Roth does indeed believe Messiah is God. I'm not sure where you heard otherwise. See his Aramaic English New Testament, you'll find Roth's commentaries lay out the matter clearly.

    • @jparks6544
      @jparks6544 9 лет назад +3

      He admitted it in another video comment and exposed his heresy. He believes jesus was created by God. That is blasphemy.

      +j parks Can you show us that comment? His own writings -- particularly his commentaries in the Aramaic English New Testament -- show otherwise.

      +Tabernacle of David I see you deleted my original reply where I quote the heresy of Roth. Here it is again. I challenge you to keep it up as a witness.
      "The Father is outside of time and the Father made the Son from a
      thought in His head to become the Word and create the rest of the
      Universe. Y'shua as that Thought is pre-creation. The Word comes out of
      the Father's mouth at Creation (in the beginning)" Andrew Roth

      @tabernacleofdavid8069  9 лет назад +1

      +j parks Nope, I didn't delete your reply.
      That quote you give might not mean what you think it means. You think it means, "Yeshua is not God in the flesh.", but Roth doesn't actually say that.
      Roth may not agree with your conclusion. From Roth's own writings, it seems he does believe Yeshua is both the son of God and the divine Messiah. I base this on Roth's own Aramaic translations, e.g. his translation of Philippians 2, which affirms Messiah's divine status.
      Tell you what. Have you contacted him and just asked him? I find that's way more fruitful (and firsthand!) than implying from written words, which can be misinterpreted. Contact him: onefaithandrew at gmail dot com.
