From what I've heard over the years, his ability to read defenses and communicate with the QB is otherworldly. Pair that with the blocking talent and I've gotta believe he's the best in the biz.

  • @jtsmassivepurpose7549

OL is what helped build this team from the start. Ragnow is just amazing time in and out the heart and soul of this OL.

  • @andrewhein7281

Frank is one of the toughest, and smartest players in the league. When he doesn’t play it’s noticeable. Glad he’s back.

  • @jkomoroski

Unbelievable analysis Coach! You are very high level, I hope you end up on a staff someday. Ragnow is arguably the best player on the Lions. I would love to win a Super Bowl with him. He’s pure balls. Total Detroit guy.

  • @jeremyzier8706

I just truly hope Frank can hold up until the Lions win it all. He's a great guy, a great talent, and a great center. And Frank under the tutelage of Hank Farley is the best in the league IMO.💪🦁💙

  • @JonAlienAbides

The way Ragnow and Jackson pass off each others defenders at the 23min mark is a thing of beauty. I really hope losing Jackson to LA doesnt disrupt line chemistry too much.

Coach, you been adding to my enjoyment of watching ALL football. Big thanks!

Awesome video. Offensive lineman here. I love to see the game in the game. I would like to see a video on how the offensive line can be looked at as a unit. All working together on a play. If even one lineman fails his assignment and four succeed the play can be blown up. They have to be poetry in motion. If that makes sense.

  • @daytwaqua

Ragnow's ability to play through pain, in addition to just being a tough mofo overall, is why he's earned "The Tank" as a nickname. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that it rhymes with his first name, that's probably a big part of it too. But yeah, he's definitely a fan favorite of Lions fans, as we are well aware of what he deals with, just to play the game he so obviously loves. We all held our collective breaths in the offseason, when there were rumors that he might retire. Luckily he announced he was coming back after like two weeks, so we didn't have to sweat it out for long. I'm not sure how much time we have left before he retires, but I'm gonna just enjoy it while it lasts.

    Kickass breakdown coach.

  • @johnschoch5325

Thanks for focusing on the leader and main cog of the Lions OL. Most football fans know nothing about OL play and the skill set required to execute at a high level. As usual your breakdown has helped tremendously in getting true football fans up to speed to what is going on along the line of scrimmage.

  • @johnnygazsports

I truly appreciate your content! So thorough and knowledgeable. Thank goodness Frank Ragnow is so tough! He really is the cog to the OLine machine. As important as Penei is…without Ragnow the whole thing falls apart.

  • @MegaBillWood

Can’t wait till Frank puts his hands on that trophy. A career well earned!

  • @innerspace56

Ooooooooh been waiting for this! When I watch lions game highlights I usually focus on Frank and Penei. And let me tell ya, like my guy Dusty Slay says.. I'm havin a good time. 😂

  • @mattlawson8516

Thanks for the video coach! Love all of your breakdowns. ONE PRIDE 🦁

  • @mchiggins

Great video, always enjoy o-line and d-line vids and this is one of the best yet.

  • @anandnathan6851

Another great study, thank Coach! Frank is from the previous regime, which managed to draft Ragnow, Jonah Jackson, Taylor Decker, and Graham Glasgow. If not for those OL pieces, I don't know our rebuild would have happened so quickly.

  • @MegaBillWood

You guys should watch the short video I think called “ I am Frank Ragnow”. It’s a short piece on how much Franks father has had an influence on his life. It’s put together really well, and had me ( a grown man) tearing up and appreciating Frank for what he does off the field. It’ll be worth it

  • @clintbryant4250

Veteran Pass Rusher Emmanuel Ogbah he is only 30 years old. The Detroit Lions should take a flyer on him. If he fits well a one year deal. This move could help the Lions get into the Super Bowl. Enjoying your show

  • @FullMetalAttackTitan9tailsHero

Blessed to have frang ragnow. And i mean im so thrilled to just have so many players that compete w the top of the class at their individual positions...even if they arent consensus all pros or best in class.
