If you want to see talent beyond belief, Swan Song live with Chopin Etude (intro). Swan song shows you why they are unlike any other metal band period. A must see for both of you! Great reaction btw!
The Lovebites songwriting is amazing. LOADED with hooks. Also loaded with influences. Easy to get into it. It's familiar territory, but on a whole new level.
Love this song. Love the beginning, it lets you hear the beauty of Asami's voice real well. The Duo is just showing why they are among the best. Haruna.. So love her and she was just killin it. Miho, Miho soo good. Thank you for reacting to this video.
LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics: Memories I can’t erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control I’m losing sight of me I’m losing sight of you I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth Rendezvous, without emotion or heart I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside Even though I know it’s just silly pride Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I’m waiting for the dawn I’m waiting for the time I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on Memories I can’t erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control I’m losing sight of me I’m losing sight of you I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will… You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I’m waiting for the dawn I’m waiting for the time I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
I'm finally adding this and the other songs we did to my car playlist, and I can't wait to hear them again! Spring 🌷is here, the sun ☀is shining bright, putting my sunglasses on 😎. It's an hour drive 🚗 to the city, we will be rocking 🤘out listening to Lovebites 🎶, great start to the day!!
Awesome!! i love that because its a sad song everyone is somber, except Haruna who cant help herself but smile!! 🤘🙂🥁🎶 Lovebites ballads are always beautiful, it shows how good their song writing is, no matter what style or tempo, a ballad or speed metal, they always deliver big!! 🤘🙂🎸 Im glad you guys are enjoying their music!! Love it!!
This is my favorite Lovebites song by far. Under reacted to, but too good. They get the initial attention for the serious thrash and power metal songs, but their songs like this, Swan Song, Edge of the World, really define them as a band
Ok, time to learn their names cold: Haruna - drums (2016-present) Midori - guitars, backing vocals (2016-present) (blonde ponytail) Miyako - guitars, keyboards, backing vocals, main composer (2016-present) (dark hair) Asami - lead vocals, writes a lot of the lyrics (2016-present) Miho - bass, backing vocals, founder and bandleader (2016-2021) wrote some of their thrashier songs, eg. Thunder Vengeance Thanks for coming back around to them, they deserve the attention.
How the hell did you guys sneak this Reaction totally by me, and I'm Subbed too - guess I've been doing too much babysitting. Rollen - since you're looking back at Mi-ya (what her loyal fans call her - and how she was listed on Lovebites' first recording), there is lots of stuff about other members too. Midori was in an earlier band called Gekijo METALicche back in 2015 and there are several videos of them. Miho and Haruna were in Destrose, right before they founded Lovebites, a very popular band until they broke up - videos available for them as well. Mi-ya also was in A Drop of Joker 2010-2015 and 21g 2012-2017. There are also some videos of early Asami. The 21st Century with social media and RUclips makes it possible now to trace the careers of musicians you discover and watch their growth as musicians and performers. I LOVE it! Have fun on the Hunt. (I can send some links if you have trouble) Hardcore Wolf .. 🐺
They used Michael Jackson beat it as the riff on this song that is what you where hearing, it’s a creative way of using an iconic riff but still making it sound like an original & I agree with you they don’t have a bad song
People keep saying that, but if you go and listen to Michael Jackson's Beat it, it is not the same. The FEEL is the same, but riff? not synth, not even base line really.
@@markoviitanen2671 The interesting thing is this: there are different versions of that old Michael Jackson song. Especially the guitar solo part. Eddie Van Halen wrote that, but he didn't want official credit for it back then. There is a shortened version of the solo that doesn't have this riff on it. The extended version has the riff.
Midori the blonde was inspired by Bettencourt and Malmsteen whereas Miyako was more into Blackmore and Gary Moore and is more melodic Midori shreds more
Love the reaction. I think the riff you are thinking of is by Eddie Van Halen in Michael Jacksons Beat It. Van Halen is one of the influences Lovebites pays homage to. 🤘🤘🤘🐺
You guys need to see their acoustic performance of *"Rising"* It's perform on Asami's birthday concert.. Although it's only performed by Asami and Miyako, but it's more beautiful than the orginal version..

The riff's similar to Motorhead - No Class, but different enough that it's not immediately obvious. More Motorhead than Michael Jackson anyway, I'm not sure why people keep saying that.
a lot of commenters say it sounds like michael jackson's 'beat it. sorry but i have to disagree. the only thing to me that's similar is maybe the beat but that's it. just listened again for comparison for about the 10th time and the riff to me is quite different. and a lot better. still love mj and i have his off the wall album that i bought new in '79 - one of my favorite lp's ever but i'll take lovebites all day long and 10 times on sundays
Are you talking about 21G or Drop of a Joker with Miyako, which is her two former bands, many will say Michael Jackson's beat it, but I say more like Eddie Van Halen's typical style and riffs from their first album and Van Halen II
Relly enjoying watching your LOVEBITES journey. Please keep going. 🤘🐺🤘

Thank you for the link!
In a sane world, this would top the charts worldwide.
Miyako and Midori always put on a splendid harmonic guitar clinic.

LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics:
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on
Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth
Rendezvous, without emotion or heart
I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside
Even though I know it’s just silly pride
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will…
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
so I can go on

That intro with Miyako’s piano and Asami’s bluesy vocals is just awesome.

Catchy song. Miho bass clearly backing the guitars. Shes the best for them. All Lovebites songs are good. Great reaction friends..

Tremendous!!! I love My Lovebites 🏴🐺🤘 Have subbed!
Love your reaction! One of my fave songs from Lovebites! That riff is very similar to REO Speedwagon - Back On The Road Again.
It's "Beat It" my Friends. Miyako is a Huge Fan of that Song, there's also a cover of the Guitar Solo executed by her on RUclips, i'm pretty sure.
Yes, I seen it.
Miyako!!!
You guys need to see their acoustic performance of *"Rising"*
It's perform on Asami's birthday concert..
Although it's only performed by Asami and Miyako, but it's more beautiful than the orginal version..
