We got you, Queen. 3:55 On Jaya (just before Skypiea) , when Luffy goes to beat up Bellamy and get Cricket's gold back, there's a short scene where Ace hops onto Buggy's ship and eats all their food, but otherwise most all of them had a good time. 16:45 There ya go, I knew it'd come back to ya!

Buggy's hair has always been that long. The tassles on his hat were actually his hair.
I don't think it's mentioned anywhere, but I think that because of how his devil fruit power works he can't actually cut his hair. Hence, it's long now, even though he had it short when he was young.
@@AnsixilusI don't care if it's true or not, that's now my headcanon for why Buggy's hair is long. Because realistically speaking, I think he'd be able to just separate the hair from himself past it's desired length and just leave it behind.
That is another one of those facts you get when you read the SBS sections. Oda drew a little sketch and everything show how buggy's hair worked with the hat. You have to take some of the replies with a grain of salt. Like how Oda ran away from the question "What would happen if a human ate Chopper's Human Human fruit?" after giving some vague answer about making them more human or an enlighten human depending of translation. Oda is much more comfortable answering how DF effects their users naughty bits.
I like the not being able to cut his own hair because of the power. That is similar to something I remember reading but can't remeber where (so double the salt), but the buggy balls cannons are so powerful because buggy puts his toe nails and finger nails in them.
The tassels of buggy's hat have always been his actual hair. It's actually pretty wild how much is under his hat.
I love this part for Boa so much because remember she was a slave and she's willing to put up with actual shackles it if means helping Luffy find Ace, she already brought herself to a prison
Imagine how much it must remind her of trauma and she didn't hesitate
Things like this are way Boa's care for Luffy is more than him not understanding or reciprocating her love, regardless she genuinely cares for him
Buggy and Luffy together in impel down has got to be some of my favorite bits since when Buggy hams it up I cackle
Its the other way around. Monkey is the last name. The series uses the Japanese naming scheme where they say your last name first, then middle name, then first name

@@SwaggerDolphin1 Thats not his nickname though. His name IS Tony Tony Chopper. Hiruluk gives Chopper his entire name in Chapter 141. He is a Tonakai (Reindeer in Japanese) which is why Hiruluk gave him the last and middle name “Tony” and then gave him the name Chopper due to his antlers looking strong
Hiruluk then bestowed him his full name which is Tony Tony Chopper. Chopper never had a name until that very moment.
This arc kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time, it's so good

nah, monkey is actually their last name! its just that in japanese, the last name (or family name) is said first when introducing someone. so western style luffys name would actually be luffy d monkey but in the translation they just took it as it was in japanese i guess :D and yeah the d is just the middle initial. we already got some indication about there being something called "the will of d" from dr kuleha back at the end of the drum island arc, and from robin back in alabasta, but in general its still a mystery as to what exactly it means. we just know right now that there are some characters that have it in their name: monkey d luffy, monkey d dragon, monkey d garp, portgas d ace, jaguar d saul and marshall d teach.

i think it's now a good time for you to react to Episode 0 Strong World. it's canon episode + back story of Golden Lion Shiki
Yessss the mention Shiki aka the Shiki the Golden Lion that was the only One Piece movie I saught out once I got back into the anime(well I think it was the only one popular at the time so I just went with it). And it is soooo good.
If you wonder why Buggy was able to walk around freely:
Basically Buggy was able to get out because he was so unknown that they didn't know he had a devil fruit.
Sea prism stone is very expensive, so they likely keep the sea prism handcuffs for the devil fruit users only.
Since Buggy had normal handcuffs, he was able to remove them by chopping his hands off, and getting out of the cell is also easy if you can split yourself apart into tiny pieces

To be fair Buggy is an antagonist. He isn't friends with Luffy. Him not helping him is entirely in character and makes sense. He want's it to be everyone for themself, but he just backtracks when he gets in hot water lmao.

In regards to "Golden Lion" Shiki, this is only mention of him we're getting for now. But he's important. The reason why he's brought up.He's also the main antagonist of the Movie 10: Strong World. Even though movie is non-canon, the additional material focusing on him such as Chapter 0 and the anime Episode 0, were made by Oda himself.
Queenblaze, you had the pronunciation right the first time for impel down ("ehm-pell"). Again, English dub can help you out with difficult names.

I love this Saga/Arc had me on the edge my seat every episode definitely top 3 for me.
Definitely looking forward to your reaction to this arc; it's one of my personal favorites. And yeah, as far as we know currently, their plan is to go down, grab Ace, and then go back up.
Queen, there's a whole movie about that character you saw at the end of the chapter (Shiki the Lion). You can actually see the movie whenever you want, cause its placed chronologically before Thriller Bark but after Sabaody archipelago.
I recommend you to see "One Piece: Chapter 0" before you see that movie. Both the chap and the movie are amazing and give a great background to the series!

There was an episode where ace jumped onto buggys ship and 'made friends' with them. when buggy recognized the whitebeard tattoo on his back, buggy started to get real chummy instead of hostile because he didnt want to start beef. Buggy played it off like he always does by convincing his crew that they are friends to avoid a conflict. And now his crew believes it lol
Buggy is my favourite character. I'm glad the goat is back.

1st, you can’t deny you’re enjoying the return of our fav clown. His VA does amazing work with the high pitched screams and snorts hahaha 😂
And 2nd, I think (unless someone says otherwise) you are ready to watch Episode 0 of One Piece. It works as a prelude to the series and also for the movie Strong World. Even if you don’t end up watching the movie it’s a really good episode ❤

The only way your going to get the story for Shiki The Golden Lion is to watch the movie that he's in. But it's totally worth it as it's one of the best One Piece movies ever made.
If she does watch the movie, I would suggest breaking the video into multiple parts or uploading it to a non-RUclips site (maybe Vimeo). But I'm pretty sure she said no more movie reactions.
I know which sucks but yeah she's not really going to know much about Shiki other than he broke out if she doesn't watch it.

Level 1: Buggy: General Piracy and (accidentally) entering a Marine Garrison
Level 2: Mr. 3: A high ranking officer for terrorism against a country

4: ???
5: Ace: General piracy and a bunch of other stuff (enough to get executed).

It's so hard to hate Buggy for the whole series. He grows on you, like a tumor. He's also about as hard to get rid of as one.

The pirate Sengoku mentioned at the end, Shiki the Golden Lion, is in a one piece movie. One Piece movie 10: Strong World, it's non-canon but it's a lot of fun. If you do watch it, be sure to watch "episode zero", the events in there are canon.
Just a lil info about the character mentioned in the end. I don't remember if they bring him up in the next episodes or not, but he is basically irrelevant regardless.
Shiki the Golden Lion is the canon "filler" character. He is one of the characters from one of the One Piece movies so by mentioning him in anime they kinda made movie canon since that said character as you might have guessed escaped from Impel Down

The Monkey in Luffy’s name isn’t his first name it’s his last name, so really it’s Luffy D. Monkey, that’s just how they say it in the anime they say their last names first then their first names, that goes for other characters too.

Japanese names are written and spoken in the opposite order, so Monkey would be their last name. But besides flipping those two, the D is a mystery.
If you want to see more about the only escapee of Impel Down in its history, Gold Lion Shiki, he's got his own film, called "Strong World". Of course, movie events aren't exactly canon, but the character Shiki certainly is.

Johns treasure Buggy is looking all over, is the secound mysterious and biggest treasure after the One Piece. John stole it from his crew, hid it and he was killed for it. Nobody knows where he hid his treasure. ^^
It's a little inconsistency that gets me every time I see the explanation for Buggy's fruit: Buggy was separated from his body parts by whole islands when he was beaten by Luffy, but that shouldn't be possible if they can't go beyond a certain distance from his feet.
Next couple of arcs, get ready for a ride!
And yes, during Jaya/Skypiea, Ace randomly showed up on Buggy's ship after they were mining. And they partied for minute. We don't get to see Buffy captured... but the other folks you'll see we do get see the 4 of them get captured and sent to Impel Down from the cover stories in the manga. That was never animated.

First time I saw it, it threw me too, I was not expecting it.
Won't get much on Shiki in the series, but there is a filler episode and a movie, Strong World. It's actually pretty good, and it is something that you can watch after this.
If you do want to watch strong world, I would watch filler episode first. Gives you a little bit more background. But other than his existence, it's not canon.
