Curls! 🦋🦋🦋 Uncle Funky's for the win! I love that this gel works well with so many leave-ins. I’m over temperamental gels that have to be paired with specific leave-ins in order to avoid flakes or get great results.

Curls!!!!....are popping!!! My favorite wash and go is either deva curl super stretch with as I am leave in. Or mane choice moringa oil sealing cream and gel. Also really enjoyed using melanin and the oil combo. Thanks!!

Curls. I've lately used a leave-in. Mixed Chicks, As I Am, Mielle. Then an oil and Aussie instant freeze gel. It defines my curls and it lasts 5 days! I'm over the top happy!

Hi Lydia. Thank you ever so much for this video. I”ve just found out that the top centre part of my hair is high porosity, whereas the rest is extremely ,low, so I”ve been flicking through loads of High porosity hair vids and found yours. Just one quick question for you though, at the start of the video you said that you use WARM water in your spray bottle. Why is that?I thought for high porosity hair you need to use cold water to seal. Would love to know why you use warm please. Thanks in advance.

Hey Lydia!! I have the innersense hydrating conditioner, can I use that as a leave in as well? It says to wash it out but it seems like you do fine with leaving it in. It’s a different conditioner from the one you’re using, same company though which is why I’m asking. Thank you girl

I would say I've had my share of trying products and I would have never thought my fav combo would be something no one talks about! It's the Renpure coconut whipped cream leave in with the product junkie naturals creamy whipped flaxseed gel buttercream!!! 😍 it's perfection!

you are so right, with inner sense a little definitely goes a long way. my hubby almost freaked out when I told him how much the shampoo and conditioner is but I told him the products will last me a longgg time because you only need a very small amount. have you tried their gels? I have used I create volume and that also pairs very nicely with this gel.
I haven’t bought the gel but I hear it’s good!

When using the Curly Magic, I like to use Uncle Funky's Daughter Good Hair as a leave-in; if not that, then I use Camille Rose Naturals Honey leave-in with it!

That towel is a great idea. I have to get one b/c my hair is too long now for the Devacurl microfiber towel. LOL. That is a tiny bit of product. lol. I absolutely love the Uncle Funkys Curly Magic!!! Many naturals use wayyyyy too much product which causes the hair to dry out.
I discovered Inner Sense a few months ago and yes it’s pricey but has wonderful ingredients!

Curls❤❤ My fav wash and go combo is the kinky curly knot today, the mane choice tropical moringa sealing cream, and the as I am curling jelly! (I've been subscribed for a while now, and I take all my product recommendations from you lol) btw does the curly magic gel have a very strong perfumey fragrance? I reallyyy want to try it but I have an allergic reaction to strong smells, and I have had to throw out many of my fav products because of it😭
Ooooh nice!!!! And thank you! As for the smell I would say it’s a light, almost citrusy scent. But everyone has there own preferences and feelings when it comes to fragrance so what may seem light to me may be too much for you 🤷🏾♂️

They only come in two sizes from what I’ve seen. A 2oz(travel size) and then their regular size (which is the one I have) 🤗

Yep! And the only way to prevent it is by getting trims and making sure your hair isn’t getting dry and tangled.

Curlzzzz!!! My combo lately is kinky-curly knot today with Mane Choice 24kt gel. Definition, shine and moisture for days. Second favorite is the uncle funky topped with treluxe serum. No leave-in with uncle-funky’s, but I’ve scheduled an “experiment” next week to try the Innersense Pure Inspiration Conditioner as a leave-in with it :-)

The Innersense Pure Inspiration was not moisturizing enough and way too light, without enough slip. The sample of the Innersense Color Radiance Conditioner was creamier, more moisture and more slip.

CURLS!!!!!!! I started using African pride leave in and curling cream. I wanted them but found it’s only good for moisturizing my hair and not defining the curl. What’s a product for type 3 hair that does both without the crunch 😩😩😩
