This is truly a gem .. your video saved me from a mechanic visit .. please tag your video as Audi Q7 rear rotor replacement too .. no one in the other videos mentions the adjustment and the turning knob .. Thanks a MILLION
Thanks man.. I love reading comments like yours. I had to mention it because adjusting it the way Audi says it need done it actually made it loose. So I had to mention to prevent others from doing that mistake. Really glad it helped you.. 😎
I would still advise to do both. It's fairly easy and accessible. If you have air suspension on yours don't forget to first put in into 'tyre change mode' or 'jacking mode' before jacking it up. Check out my video on that if you're not sure how to do it. 👍🏾
I haven't a clue man. I didn't do anything to thw wheels when I bought the car.. They were like anthracite grey. And looked lovely when cleaned.. 😉 And no. I didn't check ar gap with VCDS. I just got enough clearance for disc to spin without squealing and by the way the parking brake pedal felt..
You don't have to. But having it in lift mode helps a lot with jacking it because of jack movement. If you have it in dynamic you'll find you'll be hitting muffler with the the jack until you have enough clearance to give longer pumps on the jack!
Yeah.. Every time you jack an Audi with air suspension you need to put it in jacking mode. Check out my video on how to do just that. 😉 ruclips.net/video/-wqjMkowyZ4/видео.html

Great video! And you’re exactly right. First adjust to REAR of the car (on both sides) then turn 6 clicks towards front.
Thanks for watching my video..
Wonder why audi workshop manual says otherwise on how to adjust it.
Muchas gracias. Me serviría de gran ayuda. Tengo que tensar el freno de mi Audi y no sabía cómo hacerlo.
thank you~
Will do this weekend
Dude, whats the color of those rims? Powder coated, right? They look awsome.
Didnt you used VCDS to check the air gap?
I haven't a clue man. I didn't do anything to thw wheels when I bought the car..

@@_LuisS Your car looks beautiful!
@motoRA_ thanks man.. I loved it too.. But not mine anymore.. Sold it last year to a local guy..
Sometimes I see it on the road.. 😉
Great colour
Thanks.. I loved it..
I don't own it anymore but still see it from time to time.. 😉
Did you have the hand brake already on while doing it?
No.. Parking brake was disengaged.
Keeping it on will give you a false sense of adjustment.
Thank you! New subscriber due to this video.
Many thanks.. 😎
Did you have to put the vehicle in lift mode prior to using your jack to raise rear end of your Audi Q7 up in air ?
You don't have to.
But having it in lift mode helps a lot with jacking it because of jack movement. If you have it in dynamic you'll find you'll be hitting muffler with the the jack until you have enough clearance to give longer pumps on the jack!
thanks man !
Do you have to lock the suspension before jacking?
Yeah..
Every time you jack an Audi with air suspension you need to put it in jacking mode.
Check out my video on how to do just that. 😉

No.. You still adjust tighten it towards the rear of the car on the other side.
