As a manga reader who personally thinks the ending was the most appropriate ending for the series, I think the final season will be no more than 13 episodes, just like how the first season was; bring it full circle. But if Studio BONES does in fact go out of their way to expand upon the ending where Horikoshi really couldn’t, I wouldn’t be opposed

im sure they'll work with horikoshi for additional content, also the final volume for the manga comes out in december if i remember correctly, so there's still a possibility for things to be added

I can 100% see them doing more than 13 if they let hori take his time and cook with the animation team and flesh out more of the conclusion to the characters
As a manga reader the anime 100% did Horikoshi justice. So many people downplayed these moments in the manga and kept talking about Horikoshi fell off and now they can eat crow. I am so excited for the final season if Bones keeps up the animation quality and expands on the final chapters it will be an absolutely peak final season of any shonen anime.
For real, since its probably gonna be only 13 episodes or less and they have one year they will absolutely cook with the animation next year
This is why I fw your reviews it’s honest and not objective. If you don’t like something or vise versa you’re going to say it. I read the manga and the amount of people who say they hate the series for how the final war went down and I just never understood why if a character doesn’t die it’s bad writing, so stupid to me. Watching the anime just cemented mha is on that level with the greats for me and I loved the ending
too many are sheep. I still say my home hero is one of the best anime in the past decade and 4 people might agree with me. i say what I feel nothing more nothing less
It’s crazy how layered Toga ended up being, her end was so sad. Iron Might was hype as hell and seeing him laugh his ass off in face of the demon lord himself was absolutely amazing! S7 as a whole is just a straight banger, from the looks of it, this series is really gonna end off on a high note!
Saving Uraraka with a transfusion is a beautiful gesture, and showing that there is still kindness and godness in her heart. She sacrficed her life for Uraraka since she did not want to lose her and world to lose. In the end Uraraka managed to bring her back from the abyss and redeeme her.
One last act of kindness from enemies turned friends. It was cool that All Might named his moves after Class 1-A
In all honesty, I wasn’t expecting to see AFO vs Iron Might this season when S7 started. But I’ll be damn if that wasn’t the best season cliffhanger in the series.

yeah we got like 50 episodes to build into this ending i dont care if the very last episode isn't for me when ive already gotten so many character endings already. and tbh im expecting I wont hate it either cause i usually disagree with the this ending sucks crowd

Best season of MHA. I started it just as uninterested as the last 3 seasons,but this one got me invested again even more than the first ones. Good thing that they learned with our criticisms over the years,especially about the tone of the series and executed everything here.

NO SPOILERS! But I’m sure you like many others have heard peoples opinion on the ending. I just wanna say like attack on titan most people never even read it. Anyone who did knows it was very solid. It’s just people regurgitating memes that are so inaccurate and copying the misinformation they saw on Twitter.

Forget 10/10. This season was an easy 20/10! And it ended on the perfect cliffhanger. How can people say anything negative about MHA when it has characters, animation, music , and storytelling this good? I am so looking forward to this final season. 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾

As someone who read the manga, it's going to be another Attack on Titan situation. Where the manga readers claim the ending is bad, mostly due to low media literacy, and then when the anime adapts it all of the anime-onlys are going to be utterly confused as to what the manga readers' problem was.
FACTS
I mean, I think part of why the anime ending was received better than the manga ending was because they got to do a do-over and reorganized and edited things to not be as awkward.

People who had written this show off after Season 3, (apparently when it 'fell off') really need to give it another chance. I've stuck with the series the whole way through, and I have no regrets when I say, MHA is one of the greatest stories ever told.
i never understood that fell off especially supoosed 'filler arcs' like school festival arcs were loved by a lot of ppl which was in s4 season 5 was the only problem and it's not because the arcs were bad/boring, it was just badly paced and adapted
Thank you to each and every individual responsible in any way for this season of My Hero Academia. After the low we hit in season five, this turnaround in the last two seasons needs to be studied. We got one more cour to go to finish out the story, and I can't wait to see what Bones has cooking to conclude Horokoshi's beautiful story.
They actually have cut stuff out in the anime, the manga was more fleshed out.
Its still a really great adaptation though!
Thats always going to happen no matter how closely they do things.
I mean they only have ~20min or so to adapt as much as possible thus meaning things will be left out.
This even goes for 4-koma series like Bocchi and Tomo-chan.
@@Draconic_Inceneratornah the cuts have to do more with numbers of episodes for the final season, if they don't cut it and rearrange some stuff the season should have ended with I AM HERE
and the final season would go something like this 3 and 3/4 episodes for shoto and uraraka fight with the remaining 1/4 being iron might introduction and end then 5 episodes for the AFO fight 7 episodes for the shigi fight and 3 to 4 episodes for the epilogue in total its about 19 to 20 episode which mean the stations need something to fill for 1 month if they do it faithfully to source
that's why with them rushing and cutting a few things they can fit the final season in 1 cour but we lose out on some context things of the world and some scene are rush a little, i just hope they don't cut out nagant conversion with rock lock to save screen time

Secondly, its impossible to deny that every series has had something cut from the source when made into an anime.
So how you cant understand something so simple is sad.

Then again in the grand scheme of things, does it really matter?
It got the point across and thats all that counts.
I mean you're forgetting what animes are. Promos for their sources.
So by leaving things out they are doing just that as if ppl want the "full" story, they'll need to read the source.
I can't wait for the series ending and the impact everything that has happened will have on the outcome.
3 volumes left and the last volume almost entirely epilogue chapters which are can adapt in a slower pace. With Mob Phsycho 100 for the 3rd season only 1,5 volume left and Bones made a full 12 episode season out of them. So now from 5 to 25 episode anything could happen for the lenght of the last season.

Did not think we get ssee Iroh man Rises All Might true hero to the end, the self-sacrifice at least thta's how it looks for now. He going Beyond Plus Ultra! Cinematic masterpiece. Can't wait to see the final season!
This episode was so good!
While I get that some people complain about a long running show having its ups and downs, and it's true this one had its slower or less impactful seasons in the middle, but it is just so good overall and especially this last season. One of the most emotionally satisfying and impactful shows I've ever watched. Even the middle stuff that wasn't quite as engaging is being paid off in the long run so strongly. Like one of my own biggest complaints overall was wishing the author had given some of his female characters better scenes and this ep delivered on that in such a strong way and right before also giving one of the coolest sequences with All Might. Both individually were amazing. Anyhow folks need to just accept that any story has its cycles and a long anime requires some variance in pacing and also time spent with the villains (as much as the good guys) early enough so that what happens to them later is meaningful.
I was so hyped when I saw All Might suiting up for the fight, I enjoyed the fight itself but I do wish they extended a little bit more cause I felt like the cliffhanger was too soon. Regardless this season was peak and I am both excited and sad for the final season.
This episode almost made me tear up. I didn’t realize until now how much I missed seeing All Might in action until now. Also I can’t believe Toga’s really gone, that scene combined with the soundtrack killed me 😢.
I hope we get a movie after the final seasin that take a place after the end...it just my hero universe has a lot to offer ...not only in thr main series but it still can has it spin off with diffrent mc ..liem vigilante

I think the show's been sticking most of it's landings so far with this "Final Battle" arc.
Also I feel like anyone raging about CG Mechamight is just actively looking for something to be angry about.
I'm a manga reader, and if anything, the anime is a slight downgrade.
A very slight downgrade.
Horikoshi as an artist and as a writer is way too underrated.
L O V E D this series and this episode and the season
This season brought back the hype for MHA, at least for the anime. I’m not sure how to describe it but to me the story lost something after the middle of season three. It was temporarily back when we had that villain arc but then it was lost again until this season came around. Now I can’t wait for the last season to come around. I actually want to see what the McDonalds memes were about. I have my guesses but I hope they won’t come true. Regardless, it’s been an interesting ride with this “new age” shounen.
There are about 32 Chapters left to adapt, so depending on the pace, I assume it will be be anywhere between 8-13 episodes. I really can't see it being more or less than that. That's about as non spoilery as I can get with the prediction.
That being said, reading the manga ahead of time kind of makes this torturous as well. I know how it's going to end, but I can't talk about it with anime only fans. I have to give non-answers like, "you'll see," or "just you wait." And I still get hyped like you guys, because the execution of the adaptation is still new to us, in a sense. We don't get Bones' animation or the amazing music and vocal performances while reading monochrome manga panels. Then as it neared the end of the Season I was thinking, "no matter what, we're getting a cliffhanger and a short Season 8..."
Now that the Season is over, my biggest criticism is that the 2nd opening revealed too much. But that doesn't ruin the Season for me.
The final season has enough material for around 1 cour of anime so it'll be like 8/9 episodes of straight up mind blowing action and the rest willbe the epilogue (which is going to be extended in the last volume coming out in december)

As a manga reader and frequent watcher of your reviews, you will be 100% satisfied with the ending. It just makes sense if you have common sense and logical thinking, so enjoy the ride!
32 chapters left to Animate. 12 episodes is plenty. Hopefully we get 15, that would be perfect
lol I never got this far even in the manga. But I DID watch today's episode. And I was totally lost. I'm sitting here like "Who are these people?". It's funny.
This was such an awesome episode. Toga giving her blood to save Ohacko. Then the Armored All Might or Iron All Might was so good. I just wish the fight was more extended and adapted. Though I can wait. I hope the Final Season will be released in Spring or Summer of 2025. Hope we finish this run together Brother! Go Beyond! Plus Ultra!
Nah im hoping its not rushed and given the amount of time its needs.
Aside from the S&S episodes and last few minutes of the last episode, I thoroughly hated this season. It was literally My Hero Exposition, and my hope is they do a condensed version of this season more focused on the action. It was mind numbing and a bore to watch every week.
Togas arc ended wonderfully but the animation when All Might suited up had no right to go that hard. I need season 8 next week
The manga’s actually way better than the anime usually. I don’t know why people are shit talking the ending but I’ve never been so satisfied with a Shonen ending than MHA, it was so well done

Perfect Cliffhanger ending for the season not gonna lie
yes the final season will be a 1 cour 13 episodes or at least 12 episodes, its can't get any lower then that unless they crammed alot of the chapters into each episodes
to end the AFO fight should take about 4 episodes and the shigi fight is about 6 episodes with 3 episodes for the epilogue and finale
that means more time into animation which means bones be cooking next year
