great video! I came in knowing absolutely nothing about this game, and like you said in the beginning "by the end you'll know how to play" and that's 100% true!haha thank you!
At 11:01 with the chart, I'm not sure if it's because the rules are different, but according to the chart, the player having 8 after the 3rd card would dictate if the banker draws, the chart says the banker is spouse to hold. I'm a roulette person myself, I'm kinda understanding this one, but you lost me. Maybe one day
@budpaw8852 There's another Q&A about this in the comments. The answer is that the banker draw chart is based on the player's third card value (not the hand value) compared to the banker hand value. So the player drew a card valued at 5. The banker hand is worth 3. Based on those values, the chart shows a banker hit.
Thank you for the video, can you explain why anyone would ever bet on the dealer? The game is 50/50 either way. If you bet on player you get 1/1 banker pick takes 5%… so why would you ever bet on the 95% payout over the 100% payout? That part I don’t understand
@@PuzzlingGames yes, but mathematically, it’s just like a coin flip(pick heads or tails) … which means that any previous outcomes have ZERO effect on the next outcome. If I am understanding the rules correctly then there is never any reason to bet on dealer.
Due to the rules the banker wins slightly.more then the player and the casinos know this hence the reason you're paying a small commission to the Casino when you play and win when betting on the Banker.
My local casino plays Gloden Frog Baccarat. They charge the casino banking company the commission, that's how they make their money. Players don't have to pay a commission on the tables anymore. Other games they do. But this is specific to non-Indian casinos in California.
At 11:00 you got a 8 ( with 3 cards)and the banker has a 3 . He doesn't have to Take a third card ! Did I miss something ? On the chart it's written S ( so stand ) . Why did he took a third card ( banker ) ??
Omg thank you! I know how to play now going to Vegas tomorrow and I wanna start card games. I am going to play this one then with a real dealer in person once I get the hang of it!
When first talking about a 3rd card, you stated the dealer’s obligation is based on the card drawn. But when showing the example you add the players drawn card to his total. Then the dealers next move is based on the total and not the value of the players drawn card. Can you clarify that for me, please?
It's based on the third card, not the value of the hand. Although the hand was an 8 the third card was a 5 and the banker had a 3 which makes it a hit for the banker.
But don't you win more money if you win by 7 or more points. Like player gets 9 and banker gets 1, so that's 8 points won by and it pays like 20-1 odds
Because of the complex rules, the banker theoretically has very slightly better odds..about 51%. It's really only noticeable over the long-term...like 100 hands of playing but, mathematically, it's a simple fact.
I think the confusing part is him like he is the player. As I understand it, the dealer is both the player and the banker and you're just arbitrarily being on who you think will win based on nothing at all.

Awesome video thank you!
So if player pay 1:1 and banker pay 1:1 with 5% commison hiw do you make money other then winning a tie?
At times on bet on the player and at times on the banker. The commission is to stop people from just betting on both each hand
Great info but Omg that sound tho in transitions between clips, why would u do that to us. I can’t
😂

I agree the chart showed the dealer holds when the player has 8 and banker has 3!
This is because its the players 3rd card not the total value yet
@@Bigtingagwon in other words, this chart rule only applies if it’s a “NATURAL”
11:01 why does the banker draw a 3rd card? The chart says „stay“ when the player has 8 and the banker 3.
No, it's the value of the "players 3rd card" vs Bankers total value decides if banker draws the third card or not..
Wonderful explanation during intermittent use of a table saw.
Glad it was helpful!

Perhaps the banker is on a winning streak. - in my opinion, you win based on streaks.

❤thank you for very simply explaining how to play a game i was so afraid to learn!
The casino I go to doesn’t take a commission on the bet for banker, is every casino just different?
If you have a in a hand you had a 1 and the banker had a 2. Why do you win. 2 is closer to 9?

P is for the value of the 3rd card player got. his 3rd card was a 5 so the banker hits at 3 👍 he said it wrong in the video lol
@@sambornemann2439 I had the same question as @mariolakatos. Thanks for the clarification. Makes much more sense with that explanation.
Ahh makes sense now. It is the value of the third card for the player that dictates the hit or stand. He said it wrong, so it confused me.
The best baccarat video, very well explained and enjoyable - got me wanting to pay online (for free) straight away. Thank you.
Great video, I wanted to get into learning the game and feel more knowledgeable now!!

Why wud someone bet on banker if it has house edge?

That last hand, you had 8 and they had 3 and the rules says the stands so why did he draw
The problem is baccarat tables are always in high limit rooms.
Not always but I rather play higher bets just talk in there but a $500 hand 2 times and leave

Very good and articulate explanation. Thanks!
In the last game. The player had 8. The banker 3. Your chart says "S" in that case. But in your game the dealer hits. Was that a typo in the chart?
It's based on the third card, not the value of the hand. Although the hand was an 8 the third card was a 5 and the banker had a 3 which makes it a hit for the banker.
Can u bet on the player and the bank at the same time?Like for the same hand?
You might have missed the 5% part. You lose 5% of banker every hand
What about pairs?
I have good strategy that can share freely, but i dont know how to contact and send.
So the third card is the house edge, not 50/50
Exactly. That's why banker gets a commission.
Vegas here I come !!!

I don’t get it !!
Isn’t the Banker 0-2,will Only Draw a Third card but 3-9,won’t Draw✍️ ! ? ?
As simple as That !?
If the player’s 3rd card is 3-9, then the banker draws a 3rd card. I think that is the most confusing part of the game. But it’s doable.
Yea pretty good video thanks
I think what usually confuses me is doing this in a casino, where I don't know the hand knocks, terms etc
Thats for blackjack

That’s laugh out loud at about a minute twenty.
“And you’ll be playing as well as people that have been playing 20 years.”
How is this profitable? Sounds like a huge guessing game
Isn’t the Banker just 0-2 then it Draws,others than that 3-9,it doesn’t Draw !!?

That sound between categories is super obnoxious.

Too many commercials
Sounds difficult to win money period. You win you only get what you bet back. So win =0 money.
No. If you bet 10 dollars and you win, you get your 10 dollars back, plus another 10 dollars. They guy on the video didn't explain it well.
@@Sumohano No he just doesn't understand how 1:1 payouts work 😂
?? Might want do some research man before you step foot in a casino or youre toast.
To bad you made the mistake with explaining the bank's third card, pretty much ruins the video at the end.
evil ass sound effect
Please tell me how the fuck this is easy?
It's easy because all you have to do is decide who to bet on...the dealer is gonna handle the rest
