Hyperia is almost definitely better. Im riding smiler one day after hyperia in September so ill update after that but im pretty sure its knocked smiler out of no. 1 and into no. 2 for me.
Smiler is overrated af. Just cos it has 14 inversions its still old and my experience was extremely rattly. Out of all the rides at Alton it would probably come 7th minimum on my list. Still not saying its a bad ride though

The smiler only crashed because a drunk guy broke into alton towers and he was pressing difrent buttons so then the smiler crashed it is safe now they have better security for the rides alton towers is safe u can go on any ride u want tho

I remember when i was 9 i went to alton towers with my family we were celebrating my step dads and brotherss birthday and yes we got to skip school (yippee) and i went on thirteen for the first time with my mom and eldest brother but thwyy didn't tell me about what happens on it so when it came to the drop part i was crying throwing up acreaming laughing and clinging onto my mon at the same time 😂😂😂😂

Spinball Whizzer, loved the ride since it got the Sonic theming which has now gone, "CHECK OUT DA CONSOLES!" Still lives on in my heart anyways.
