  • I taught myself how to repair this keyboard, so you don't have to make the same mistakes I did!
EDIT: This got a lot more views than expected! As a couple folks have pointed out, PLEASE DO NOT lay the keyboard flat on the table when you flip it over like I did!! Use blocks and/or padding so the controls don't get damaged. Mine turned out fine, but if I'd made any wrong moves it easily could've not been!

I get chest pains when I see you turn over the keyboard right on the switches and knobs I hope nothing broke. With that said it was entertaining!!

Yeah, someone else pointed that out 😅 This thing is robust and everything is fine, but next time I'll be sure to use padding or risers of some kind!

Hey Davis, great vid! I have a Stage 2 EX, 76 keys. I need to change the keybed as well, clacky keys and some dead notes. Where did you get a replacement keybed? Any information would be helpful, thanks!

If you are going to repair stuff yourself, get a piece of foam to put your instrument on. Dont just flip it over on the knops and stuff and then start screwing stuff out or in. Handle your instrument with respect.

Good suggestion, I'll do that next time. As mentioned, I am an amateur and couldn't find any information on how to repair this properly - there are a lot of things I probably should've done differently!
