Hey Davis, great vid! I have a Stage 2 EX, 76 keys. I need to change the keybed as well, clacky keys and some dead notes. Where did you get a replacement keybed? Any information would be helpful, thanks!
If you are going to repair stuff yourself, get a piece of foam to put your instrument on. Dont just flip it over on the knops and stuff and then start screwing stuff out or in. Handle your instrument with respect.
Good suggestion, I'll do that next time. As mentioned, I am an amateur and couldn't find any information on how to repair this properly - there are a lot of things I probably should've done differently!
Thanks, and I know, others have pointed that out as well and I edited the description to address that. I've gotten a little too comfortable working on less delicate things over the years!
I'm a drummer, can't play keyboard but the video is amusing. Nicely done
Couldnt have had a better demonstration
I get chest pains when I see you turn over the keyboard right on the switches and knobs I hope nothing broke. With that said it was entertaining!!
Yeah, someone else pointed that out 😅 This thing is robust and everything is fine, but next time I'll be sure to use padding or risers of some kind!
Perfect tutorial
