The broken record technique is sporadically successful if you stay calm, cool and collected 🙄 but its painstakingly tedious and frustrating to maintain. They try your patience and usually throw an angry tantrum at being "questioned" no matter how you ask and then will retaliate in some way.
No kidding! When I keep to a few words, he will start getting angry and naming off a list of my supposed short comings…..anything except for the answer I phrased simply! It’s amazing! And yes, exhausting!

If you feel they are not being completely honest about something, try asking questions that will indirectly get them to admit it.
