Make sure you anchor that shed good, neighbors had one that decided to take flight😢 his new one he reenforced interior and over the top anchors..and lots of them 😂😂😂😂👍
Happy Birthday Silas! It’s hard to believe he’s already a year old. Enjoy every minute you can with him, my baby girl is 20 now and it just doesn’t seem possible!
I remember all too well growing up on a farm. My older sister and I would go get our Christmas tree. I was the one who carried the axe, cut it down after she chose the one she liked. Then carried the axe and tree home. Good, good memories!!!
Happy birthday Silas. You are such a big boy. Was fun watching the kids in the tractor. The family tree hunt, is that a tradition for you guys? Was neat seeing you all cutting a tree, then walking out of the forest. Thanks for sharing. Looks like grandpa and grandma have a bunch of grand kids.
Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving. Happy Birthday Silas. The little building looks like the buildings Sears sold decades ago, I had a building for about 30 years until a bad storm blew the neighbors calf huts into it. I would suggest you get some cable and run anchors with the cable going over the top of the shed to hold it down, I used silo blocks they sell them as patio blocks and ran the cable through the blocks adding enough weight the shed did well in wind storms. I also put mine on a floor with 8x8s as a sled so I could move it when we needed too. Calves look great. Always fun to look for the Christmas tree and spend time walking through the little wooded areas. Followed by hot coco and setting up the tree. Hope you all stay safe and healthy.
Thanks for sharing so much of your life with us ,,my wife and I are retired here in the mountains of North Carolina,,and the only way we can see your very special way of life and world is through the lens of your cameras,,,thank you and happy holidays
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SILAS! Looked like yummy cake. Awfully cute baling crew too. Thanks so much for sharing your family with us. Wondering if you still have the colt? Happy Holidays to all!
Thanks for sharing Carson... Enjoyed seeing the little ones at the beginning and the end of your video today. Happy Birthday Silas, Wow! one year old already. Happy Thanksgiving!
Carson I run corn stalk bales thur a hammer mill. I feed my stock cattle all they wanted of that and 3 pounds of 20 percent range cubes. They done ok. That's is a good looking stocking cap your son is wearing.
HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY SILAS!!!🎊🎂 What a sweet video!! You have some cute little helpers in the beginning of your video, LOVE the ending with the family hunting Christmas trees🎄😍 Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving and are looking forward to Christmas. God Bless to your whole family Carson!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!🎊🎆

Happy birthday Silas!😊❤ That year, sure went fast. 😊 Loved this video. Your niece/nephews are so cute😁. Calves are growing .. kids are growing. Great Christmas tree round up too. 🥰
Happy Birthday 🎊🎈🎂🎁🎉 Silas . Are having a new brother or a little sister? Just have to ask Carson?how good is the little storage tied/ anchored against winter wind . And the snow on roof. I know you factored it in. Great idea with the corn/hay. Great video.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Your Family!!! Well, I am telling you that you are the luckiest man on the Planet. You made my heart feel so good. I loved the little kids, wow, memories for me. Going for the Christmas tree reminds me of going for a Christmas tree when we walked back to the bush to get ours. My Dad took the saw and the sleight to pull it back with. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SILAS! My gosh where has that year gone. He was so cute eating his Birthday cake, get her done lad. Damaris is looking so happy . You are going to have to get a bigger tractor cab! hahah. Once again that you. this has been great.
Awesome video again! Thanks for sharing your family time, the kids are adorable!! Such exciting times for them and memories being made for your entire family! God bless my friend. One quick question on bailing the corn stalks, what is your process? I’m trying it for the first time in many years and the first time with my 466 bailer …. I went behind the combine with the mower to put them into windrows but I’m having a devil of a time getting them to feed into the chamber… someone suggested that I just rake behind the combine and forget about using the mower…. Any suggestions would be appreciated
My nephew likes to ride with us in the combine I usually drive truck and papa drives combine but he had to go somewhere so I was driving combine and my nephew was asking a million questions and I was focusing on running the machine so I didn’t answer all of them later on papa was running the machine and my nephew was still riding and my dad told him he was going to have to speak up cause he was hard of hearing he said Uncle Kendall can’t hear either cause he didn’t answer my questions
A. You need more pens bud. Too many calves per feet of bunk. And B. Did you put a whole round bale in that mixer??? I guess I could be wrong but I’ve never seen those mixers be grinders 😂 that’s maybe the funniest thing I’ve seen😂
@@beckyumphrey2626 lol How do you know when he was recording they were all finished eating?? 😂 Very subjective. But Objectively speaking, when he was flying the drone above the pens, the bunk line was packed full and there were quite a few calves pushed off the line with no room to eat. I bet ya the ranchers would agree with me too. I wasn’t trying to be mean, just pointing it out.
Why don't you sell your corn and just buy back some wet distillers? Not only will it make a way better ration, you'll actually be feeding enough protein for them to grow right. Based off your ration now you don't have enough protein in it
Make sure you anchor that shed good, neighbors had one that decided to take flight😢 his new one he reenforced interior and over the top anchors..and lots of them 😂😂😂😂👍
Anchor it as soon as possible. We built a metal shed and a strong wind lifted it over to the neighbor's and destroyed it.
Happy Birthday Silas! It’s hard to believe he’s already a year old. Enjoy every minute you can with him, my baby girl is 20 now and it just doesn’t seem possible!
My "baby" girl is 36.
Will always be my "baby"

Have the ducks and turkeys found that pile of corn yet
That’s a lot of calves 🤩 👀
what is going to anchor the shed to the ground when the big winter winds come?
I wonder does that mine of Rare earth minerals and proposed smelter in Upton affect you folks any
So I'm curious.... what was written on or on the bottom of Silas's right foot when he was munching on his cake?
Hope that thing doesn't blow away
Make sure you put the stump in a container with water and sugar or the tree will dry out real fast and become a fire hazard
How do you water stock in winter
100g babysitter right there

Did you happen to notice all the remaining feed when they.finished eating. There is plenty of food for all.
