Very useful and informative, thanks Mark. I 've got an F75 so I changed the radiator water with new inhibitor. However when I checked the Shrader valve on the expansion vessel water spurted out. I liked the isolation talk particularly.
Thank you for great video. I am an engineer not a gas man, it has enlightened me in how my boiler works, up until now , itwas a box on the wall which gave hot water and heat
Hi, Mark I watched your video on how to replace a expansion tank on a valliant eco plus boiler, it was a straight forward job to do but it was even easier with you video and you have such a great listening voice, thanks Mark, I am buying you a cup of coffee
Super video, thanks. I wonder if that tiny fibre washer is the secret sauce that an ordinary punter can't buy? or does it come in the box with the new pressure vessel?
I don't understand something, If the old vessel was full of water and you removed the screw at the bottom, why the water didn't run out of it ? The whole point of the vessel is the have free flow no ? Anybody can help me with it?
Water coming out does not mean it's faulty could just be condescention in the vessel remove the Schroeder valve attached a hose to the whole then putting water into the system up to one bar mark see if any water come out of the hose if not then re pressure the vessel to see if it holds pressure and that your not pressuring the system check the gauge if it goes up you then have a faulty vessel.
Your video enabled me to diagnose a faulty Schrader valve and not a faulty expansion vessel. You are my go to source for boiler repairs. 😁

Brilliant work mate, you have a wonderful way of explaining yourself, looking forward to more of these highly helpful videos. Kudos to you.
Fantastic video. I’ve seen some of your earlier ones and while they were great too, the improvement in quality has been huge. Nice!
Excellent video..very informative
One of the best videos.
Very good video. Do you need to purge the boiler after re pressure or not ?

Thank you 😊
Brilliant Thanks
That was great
I'm getting a f75 on my valiant and the gauge is going high

I think the water got drained out from the vessal after he isolated it
removing the initial cover is fine, this will not effect the operation , think about it
