Woodturning - Random Design (hoping for the best)

- Welcome to today's woodturning project! The title says pretty much everything. I wanted to made a vase and combined to sticks with mahogany and resin. I wasn't totally sure at the beginning how it would look like, but it turned out pretty interesting.

New favourite! I love blue and this is a special one. And the shape is so nice! Like the water containers back in roman ages. They had handles, since they were from clay too. But I always loved that design
I like the shape of it and can appreciate the work you put into it
Can’t argue with the results. I personally dislike turning epoxy just because of the mess, but what beautiful things you can make with it. Case in point.

Beautiful vase! I think the pattern is very striking and I love the contrast of the warm wood colors with the cool blue resin.
Really like the pattern you created. And the way the wood block portions shimmered in different amgles in the light.

Gorgeous vase. I really like it. Question if you don’t mind please, what did you use to finish this vase and what order. The finish really made the colors pop.
Never thought to just ask ... What should a person look for in a lathe to turn banjo rims? Finances are a issue so looking for used but appreciate any info or reply.
