In the comics canonically Alfred actually favors Dick. Alfred even left all his millions to Dick after Bane killed him. Jason being Alfred's fav is a purely fanon thing (just like the fact that Jason likes cooking) I like all the pairs you chose, and I agree, Steph, and Bruce is a cool one, wish they worked together more in the comics. But after what happened with her during War Games I don't blame her for keeping her distance from Bruce. Another really good combo people like to forget about is the Dick Tim one. New52 fundamentally chnged their relationship. In post crisis, and pre one Tim and Dick were very close, and had a strong brotherly bond. To an extent when Tim has suicidal thoughts (Tim was kind of emo for a while in the comics) Dick was the one he trusted enough to ask for help. New52 just ruined Tim, and Dick's relationship. Another combo they could use more in the comics is the Jason, and Dick one. Contrary to fanon, Dick have never treated Jason badly, but didn't spent a lots of time with him, because he lived in a different city, and his reltionship with Bruce was very bad at the time.But I think they can play off of each other, because of their very different personalities. Like Dick is a funny, and an idealist one, and his playful nature contrasts Jason's more stoic, realist, brooding one.

I adore Barbara and Bruce’s PLATONIC relationship! (emphasis on platonic bc of Bruce Timm😐) I’m so glad you mentioned them because their bond is definitely not appreciated as much as it should be!!
I think Alfred really is THE most important Batfam member because he is the one that showed Bruce that a family is not your blood, that just because Thomas and Martha aren't there, it doesn't mean Bruce can't have a family and that's the essence of the Batfam, it's family beyond blood. At the end of the day, the Batman story is about an orphan boy becoming a father, it's about a child who thought his family lost but learned that if he opened his heart he could have family again, and Alfred is the key that unlocked that heart. Dick is the one who opened it, Jason was probably the first to actually enter and live in it, but Alfred was the one to unlock it in the first place. (I'd say the death of Jason probably closed Bruce's heart again and Tim was the one to beat on the door until it opened up again and has kept it open ever since)
Yes!!! Bruce and Babs are grrrreat! I love the way they interact, I love how much they feel like true best friends, in a deeper sense, they probably wouldn't hang out or something like that but they just get each other so much, Barbara knows Bruce so damn well, and I agree, the fact that he is not her father figure but a friend is insanely cool. There's this scene (I think in No Man's Land) where he kisses her forehead with so much love and it doesn't feel romantic nor fatherly, it just feels like 2 people who love and care and respect and trust each other aaaaarghahruauuwhrhxhgblubleblublebluebleeee
I don't get where the sisterhood of Steph and Cass came from, they are so gay in the original Batgirl run that I almost feel this recent push for sisterhood is kinda... On purpose
