Something that really bothers me in sims 4 is that having a bubble bath makes sims silly instead of relaxed. In sims 3, when my sims get home from work all stressed out I like make them have a bubble bath. It de stress them and it seems so realistic.
I feel like it should be silly for toddler and children…maybe for teen both, like if they’re already happy silly but when they’re tense relax and for young adult and up relaxed
I only played The Sims 3 for a little while way back when and gosh I forgot how fun newspapers were! I remember having a frugal sim and I clipped coupons almost every day lmao
Definitely get the main packs right now that is 50% off if you want to play it in the future. Absolutely worth it! Sims 3 sales are rarer than Sims 4 ones.
I found a work around for that if you have Get To Work. Get a sim to buy a retail lot and build or dl a bakery from the gallery. There are even baked goods on the gallery which you can stock the bakery displays with. Get the sim to set the food for sale then either sell the bakery or leave the sim to run it. I usually use sims I don't play. Then I take my sims to the bakery to buy cakes when they want them. Hope this helps.
The romantic options are a big one for me. I miss the slow dancing and cuddling in bed and making out in bed options from Sims 3. I sadly can't even play S3 because of the lag so I just get so annoyed by how non-romantic the S4 is lol.
I totally agree with the bookcase thing! This just came to my mind some days ago, and I really miss it, too. It really makes the bookcases look more dynamic and individual.
Base Game Details I wish TS4 had from TS3: 1) Go to City Hall and Change Your Name (in TS4, maybe you could do this online or at the library since the game isn't Open World and doesn't have a City Hall) 2) If EA won't Free Babies, at least give them cribs with rails that go up and down and have a crib option for Toddlers. (Crunchy Mamas, don't come for me. I am co-sleeping my babies and they don't have cribs) 3) The Social Worker taking my kids for reasons other than starving my kids. I find it realistic that if my TS3 toddlers were socially neglected and stinky with diaper rash, they would get taken away. 4) Babies Vomiting on my sims if they played too rough with them shortly after a feed. 😅 5) The cheat ability to have my children live alone in a lot for an added challenge. How? Two ways: Testingcheatsenabled On 1. Make a YA on CAS, put them on a lot, shift-click sim and select Edit in CAS, make them a kid. 2. Shift-click-Edit-Child-in-CAS and make them a YA, get everyone else off the lot however you want them to (death, move out, delete, whatever), shift-click-edit-in-CAS again to make them back into a child. In TS4, I would have my kids be "alone" on a lot by putting an adult on a 1x1 square in the basement, cheats on, freeze motive decay (or whatever it is called in TS4) for that sim, and then forget about them. This was buggy because sometimes I have to go back to the adult and re-freeze motive decay because the setting would affect my children's motives. Fun Challenge Though! I have not figured out how to do this with TS2 yet.
Perhaps Sims 4 could include daily emails and online newsletters that Sims subscribe to. It would basically be like a daily newspaper, but updated in terms of technology.

The sims3, so much detail, i wonder if any of that origonal team still work on the sims and wish they could do that kind of detail still, i think nothing will ever match the sims 3 for the detail, the game play the hilarity, there was just somthing so deep and 'realisctic' about it that i dont think will ever be replicated in future sims games.

I totally, TOTALLY understand you😭 I love the sims 3 and I don't think it's gonna beat the sims 4 for me...exactly, the phone, the newspapers, the duckies and baths... I just LOVED exploring the world, the cities, but also interacting with the other sims and in the sims 4 it's just....nah. I'm not saying that the 4 is bad or something, I just think that some things were just big steps back... :)
Sims 4 does go to furniture design and either get excited and or get upset with the likes and dislikes system already, I do wish we had food options to like and dislike, and disabling cellphones would be a great option.
I didn't play Sims 3, but Sims 2 had some of these things, and all of them would be so cute. Newspapers! What's the point of having a journalism branch of the writer career if there's no newspapers? How cute would it be to have a little popup that pulls article titles that your journalist sim wrote that other sims could read when they read the paper. Or if coupon clipping would be a single use item that makes haggling with vendors have a 100% success rate (unless they're expired).
um... my sims go and look at their favourite kind of decor all the time... they'd even stop sleeping just to look at a freakin' mirror which suits a decor style they like.... xD
Sims 4 is great, but for the most part, I miss 3. I liked the whole town being a giant lot, instead of just your house or street. What I would love is a patch for 3 & 4 to let you bring your Sims 3 or 4 Sims into the other game, in essence, fus the games together. Then if you're a Star Wars nut, your Sims 3 Sims could go to Batuu, for example, or your Sims 4 Sims can go to Egypt, France, or China.
I can't add anything regarding TS3 because I only have TS4. However, talking about schools, why aren't teens or children of other households I'm not playing going to schools as well while those of my playing household are there? Are they all skipping school?

This wasn't mentioned but it was showed, I wish we also had the option to buy a cake from the store when you didn't feel like cooking

Doorbells!! Sometimes I don't hear the knock and the doorbell was more alerting to the sim.
I miss having a landline phone option and newspaper. I loved the candles, duck and bubble bath too. So many details I forgot about.
