Kelly you are a true inspiration to me. I first saw a dresser scarf that you had quilted and sold a few years back. My hunt for vintage everything then began. I have collected a large amount that will keep me busy for at least the next hundred or so years! I also have quilt tops made by my Grandmothers and great Grandmothers. You have inspired me to dig in and finished these treasured memories. So thank you Kelly for sharing your time and talent making vintage so cool.
Thank you for posting this!! I was really sad I couldn’t come to your Quilt Show. This was the next best thing!! You are so inspiring! I love everything you do! Thanks. Kelly!!
Thank you for sharing this presentation of your quilts--wow, this is so much fun. I notice your grandmother's name was Marguerite. Mine was too, spelled the same way. She was born in 1899 and lived for most of her adult life in Hutchinson, Kansas. She wasn't a quilter, but her sister was--Emma Beecham of Newton, Kansas. I dream about Emma's quilts that were sold after her death by her sons at garage sales for a quarter. Maybe you have some of them. I hope so.
Awww, so cool!! Thanks for watching! I’m so sorry for Emma’s quilts. Sadly, I think this happens too often. Most people just don’t understand quilts. I hope I have some of hers too! The good news is, when folks buy quilts, they usually buy them because they love them. Even if it’s a resale situation, I think they end up in loving hands! 🤞
I enjoyed your video
Wow, Kelly, what an inspirational program. You are my favorite of all times.
Awww, thanks Carol! 🥰

Thanks so much and most importantly, very glad you were inspired. Maybe we can all keep these things in our current lives and not in the landfills!
