Thanks for posting. Due to back problems and close to zero feeling from my knees down, I can no longer ride and had to sell my bikes several years ago. Videos like this bring back great memories!
My boss has a turboed CB750 he has promised to sell me. and another with a more regular engine setup.... this video makes me wish I had the money to buy them RIGHT NOW! What camera, microphone do you have, this is one of the highest quality POV videos I've ever seen.
You're hauling ass, very good, people who don't ride their cafe racers as they would a modern sportbike miss the whole point of building a cafe *RACER* in the first place.
Yeah Just watching this again, seriously smooth man. You have like zero backfiring, no popping on decal. Did you do anything to the engine or is it stock, not rebuilt?
The engine has not been rebuilt, stock 750, cb900 cam, 4-1 exhaust, reverse megaphone slip-on, RSC carb tuning and pod filters, it runs like a top, thanks!
Nice. I actually have a set of those coils. I just haven't hooked them up yet, because I don't know which side each on goes on? Are they marked in a certain way? Also what cycling computer is that that will read the wheel speed?
+Taylor Nelson if I remember correctly, it doesn't matter what side they go on, just as long as you have plug 1 and 3 on one side and 2 and 4 on the other. The bike speedo is a sigma 1609, I would go with a higher model though, the backlight does not stay on with this one, other than that, it's very accurate and hardy.
Nice job arranging that rev counter vith the bicycle speedo and lock on the tripple! It's just a shame that bicycle speedos have such a slow refresh rate.
Check out my other videos, I just did a burn out video ruclips.net/video/HmjGnAiWQYY/видео.html it shows the whole bike, but I'm missing my exhaust slip on , so its loud, enjoy.
Great fun. Can somebody answer this question for me? Do the later (late 90s early 2000s) cb750 motors have hydraulically adjusted valves the same as the 750 Nighthawk series? Thanks.
Its a modified Carpy 4-1 from and a 2 1/2 reverse megaphone from Cone engineering. Its really, really loud. You will need to be careful around Cops, if your state allows it... or not ;-) links; CB750cafe.com www.coneeng.com/
this was an early set-up, i believe it was 110-70 at the time. I've been doing quite a bit of tinkering and am now running a 120-80 set-up, with RSC carb tuning and shimming the needles.
sup dudes, @seamus1203 could you tell me, or if someone else knows, what is the name of that tiny electronic speedometer that you have on the video ? or if you know a more recent one
+Jim Bingre it's a sigma 1609 mountain bike speedo. It's very accurate when set properly and not hard to set, my one complaint is it does not have a light the stays on constantly. They make others I believe that will stay lit. I highly recommend Sigma for price . Koso is the brand for top end speedo and tachometers.
Oh another question. Is that your choke cable kinda bouncing around behind your master cylinder? Mine doesn't have a bracket for the choke cable either, it broke off. It doesn't necessarily need to be tied down?
I watch this video with the volume up and a fan blowing in my face
Nice to see someone with a cafe racer who actually rides it.
The roads down there look like a blast!
M773 i believe he was talkinng about those who make amazing bikes and then keep them with 0 miles
TheSaneRider don’t you hate all the RUclips prudes preaching about following the street limits,
What’d you get a bike for then
that's what my channel is about
Thanks for posting. Due to back problems and close to zero feeling from my knees down, I can no longer ride and had to sell my bikes several years ago. Videos like this bring back great memories!

One of the few videos where you see people RIDING THEIR CAFE
I specifically searched for videos of folks actually riding them.
Seeing this makes me wish my NH cb700 was running and road ready. I'm almost there thou. Great ride. Thank you for the footage
Came back to this years later ... Still goosebump inducing.

Beautiful country side and I could listen to that growl ALL DAY!
Could LISTEN to this bike's exhaust..................ALL DAY LONG!!! Nice video Man!!! :)
I come back time after time just listen the trips up and down thru the gears and exhaust note. As an owner of a Z1b this is so familiar.
Damm ,that's a nice road and a great quality video.I just got home but that made me want to put my helmet back on and go for another ride
I totally dig you bike. Been eye ballin a cb450 for my first build. Killer video, good riding. Jealous man! Haha, keep'er rubber side down brother.
I have it geared to right at 115mph topped out. An easy sprocket change will take care of that.
What could it go up to with that change
Thanks you for the ride sir. She sounds awesome.
The sound is perfect! Nice job man!

My boss has a turboed CB750 he has promised to sell me. and another with a more regular engine setup.... this video makes me wish I had the money to buy them RIGHT NOW!

Best quality video award goes to...
I'd like to see a walk around of your bike. Sounds amazing.
+Gaston Deveaux check out my other videos, I have a walk around where I talk about what I've done to it.
You're hauling ass, very good, people who don't ride their cafe racers as they would a modern sportbike miss the whole point of building a cafe *RACER* in the first place.
When I get bored at home working, I watch this video....
Badass bike I can't wait to get mine done where is this looks like Tennessee
Beautiful bike and place:)
@DrStockmann, this is route O just outisde Orrick, mo. Great road, it goes on for about 30 miles
tell me what program did you make a video rendering?
Ryslan Rebus I just loaded the video from my nokia 1020 cellphone onto my pc and then straight to youtube, no programs or software used.
Great! I've been looking for some good roads near Kansas City!
Woah no joke, that's only like 4 hrs from me I'm in south mo :D. Great sounding bike.
I ride those roads with a group of people. They are fantastic.
love the sound of the 750...
Is that a GSXR front end? Looks like it handles rock steady, good job on the build.
What is the name of the exhaust?
Great video

The engine has not been rebuilt, stock 750, cb900 cam, 4-1 exhaust, reverse megaphone slip-on, RSC carb tuning and pod filters, it runs like a top, thanks!
I also forgot that it has cbr600f2 ignition coils, I highly recommend them also

Can you share details about the bike's mods? Maybe add 'em in the description above?

Awesome bike! Just picked myelf up a 1980 Honda Cb750f. Planning on making it into a cafe as well. Any suggestions?
Nice job arranging that rev counter vith the bicycle speedo and lock on the tripple!
It's just a shame that bicycle speedos have such a slow refresh rate.
Clean sounding bike!

Do we get to see the whole bike?
Check out my other videos, I just did a burn out video ruclips.net/video/HmjGnAiWQYY/видео.html it shows the whole bike, but I'm missing my exhaust slip on , so its loud, enjoy.

How did you strap your phone to your chest? And what exhaust system do you have? Sounds amazing!
I've got to ask what jet size your running in the carbs?
this was an early set-up, i believe it was 110-70 at the time. I've been doing quite a bit of tinkering and am now running a 120-80 set-up, with RSC carb tuning and shimming the needles.
wonderful sound ♥
The roads aren't that nice here in New England! Nice ride!
sup dudes, @seamus1203 could you tell me, or if someone else knows, what is the name of that tiny electronic speedometer that you have on the video ? or if you know a more recent one

Hi man, congrats for your bike!!
Where is the road?
Oh another question. Is that your choke cable kinda bouncing around behind your master cylinder? Mine doesn't have a bracket for the choke cable either, it broke off. It doesn't necessarily need to be tied down?
Where is this? It's beautiful!
