It means it's time to get my a into g and really get into the garden again, which hasn't been hard with the super lovely days we've been having! In this video I cover what I did in August (Spoiler alert, not much!) and what I plan to do in September.

Hehehe I feel ya with the baby monitor! :)

Hi ruth i,m from christchurch also i got broad beans flowering , runner beans onions garlic thats been in the ground since april got cabbage ready to eat and radish carrot seeds are up every thing going to plan , hope you have success for the coming growing season
Hey Steve, my runner beans haven't come up yet - I'm hoping that now we're looking a little warmer they might emerge soon! Sounds like you have a great lot of vegetables - all the best for you too!
Good luck with your patience and not planting out too soon. I'm going to have the same challenge!
I know that the patience doesn't always go from my thoughts to my hands... sometimes a sunny day comes and I just can't help myself
It's exciting watching seeds sprout isn't it 😁
Certainly is! Checking every day.... sometimes twice
Can you do a vedio about flowers please
Hey, anything particular about flowers?
Great time of year! All the anticipation of what you'll grow this coming year!
and I'm always interested in what will be a top and flop crop
Hi nice videos , I’m also from Christchurch. There are full of white flies in an around my compost bin , do you have similar problems?
Hey! Where in Christchurch are you?
I sometimes get fruitflies that are more brown in colour and they come when I haven't put the right ratios of browns and greens in my compost bin - the whiteflies are usually ones that live on plants - if you check some nearby plants you will be able to see if they are living under the leaves

Thanks for your reply. Yes they are not white flies I guess, I live in Yaldhurst ,
I moved to Nz from India 9 years ago , the pest problems in here are completely different from what I had back in India, I’m still learning and every year improving, vlogs like yours are really helpful in that, keep up the good work. 👍
