wow imagine a creation needing a megabuild remake from the big guns, the person who made it is undoubtedly incredible and also inexplicably handsome :)
I'm pretty sure somewhere in there is a master's thesis on how the Spore Creator sets up the perfect boundaries for a sort of emergent style in all creations. I feel like creature/character creators sometimes are hugely underappreciated. So much goes into the parts and options available that can guide players or even artists in a way that is so much more sophisticated than a pure sandbox. Like, as much as it's a great and influential game, for me Spore's biggest legacy is always going to be the fact that there's just this distinct style of creature design that I can look at and say "It reminds me of Spore" and virtually anyone whose ever played the game will know what that means, even though it would be incredibly difficult to really pin-point that style in a concrete description.
Transformation complete. Will Terrorsekt Heavy Industries target another victim? We shall see... (Full build of 'Bionic Headhunter: Ex-Vanguarda is available on my channel un-cut, in 4K 60fps)
I loved the worgetail in this part, it just looks so unique! also what the heck the robot horse dude is insanely good, congrats to the person that got it remastared lol
the bansheebug is so cute and the colors on the godzilla are spectacular. the worgetail really does animate nicely! wow the last one!! i couldnt figure out what editor this even was the whole time through which was interesting but it looks SUPER cool
I run through a few optimisations whenever I look into constructing anything in the Creature Editor (plus mods) for recording a new build. While most are fine with the default backgrounds or the modded backgrounds, I personally can't stand working like that, so I turn it off! The main parts I run through is turning off the background in console to make it black ( toggleeditorbackground ), disabling all animations in the editor (two-step configuration process, we have more information on how to do that over in the DETV Discord Server), and hiding the Editor UI via the 'Hide Editor UI' button towards the top-left (default UI from Dark Injections)! Last editor shots were the Adventure Editor as usual, but with the Blue-Gate trick to import each part of the creation into it in posed and textured states
Spore's a funny ol' engine for sure. It can handle a huge amount of parts and imported part models (to a reasonable extent), but where things begin to get unstable is in it's textures. I build and recorded the build at 4K, which as a consequence requires me to tweak Spore's config to have to utilise 8K-Res textures to get the same level of texture-detail present, as one would get if you were playing at 1080p and enabled 2K textures. Now if I was running at 2K or 4K textures like with with my older buillds, Spore remains pretty stable. But with this one, I got around 5 crashes when trying to render certain parts off-camera, as the engine itself can't handle that high-res texturing properly!

That bonus surprise collab caught me so off guard that I did an actual double-take.
All in all, fantastic recreations all of them.
THE LAST ONE- WOAH
3:35 Legit good advice! Also love how you recreate these creatures with your own twist while still paying homage to the og! And epic ending!
Transformation complete.

My favourite one is how you did SavannahDragon’s! What a transformation that was xD

Talk about a tone shift, really enjoying seeing these creation reinterpretations!

Well that was unexpected. What an exceptional display of creativity in this video. 👏
