Miss the good old days where I worked as Director of Events at the South Street Seaport Museum. One of my jobs was renting out the Peking for private events. But I am glad she is back in Germany where they clearly are taking a great amount of care in the restoration!
I used to spend a lot of time on her when I was a boy living in Chatham Dockyard. She was named Aresthusa at that time and was moored across the Medway at Upnor. She was rigged as a 4 masted barquentine at that time.

I’m confused , I toured this ship in New York City as a kid in April 1987 , why is in now in Germany ? I thought The USA owned it lol 😝
