I'm a big fan of Caroline Shaw, and that modulation just after 2:20 is so 'her' - love it. Thanks for this.
Hi Anna , this performance moved me to tears . So beautiful . I bought the CD immediately of course. Thanks so much for bringing this song to life. Its one of the best things I've ever heard... and I write music for a living!
Where is the CD available?
J'aime beaucoup caroline SHAW ; la partition est magnifique, et cette interprétation par de jeunes voix est superbe et très émouvante. Un très grand bravo à tout le monde.
learning to sing this song for a concert in 2 1/2 weeks, one of the most beautiful things I feel like I will ever sing. AMAZING job on this recording!
I heard you on 90.1 Philadelphia and now listen to you at home. Beautiful and touching. Thank you!
Thank you Jess Gillam [R3] for introducing this to me. Stunning.
Yes, me too
If I were living in the middle ages I would say: I see the heavens open and angels are flowing up and down....
This has been the best 4 minutes of my day, I love this ❤
This is phenomenal 😍😍 Felt like I was in heaven for 4 mins it’s stunning ❤️
Yes..me tooo
Truly, this is the best recording of this out there.
Watch the tenebrae choir. I think they are slightly better. Their bass section is just overpoweringly beautiful and all of them fit so well together.
This is my preferred recording, what Anna achieves with these boys and girls at Pembroke College is amazing! But now there is also an new arrangement and perfect recording of this splendid work where the 2nd choir is played by a string ensemble. Look it up: And the Swallow Caroline Shaw (arr. Kennedy) by British top notch ensemble SANSARA
Very nice! Quaint country churches are my favorite venue for classical concerts.
Amazing! This has been one of my favourite tracks to listen to today!

❤️❤️❤️💖❤️
👍👍👍
Nice touch that the choir are casually dressed with drinks bottles on the floor. Everyone can enjoy such glorious music. Dinner jackets or ruffs and surpluses not essential.
Would Wigmore Hall care to respond to this?
This isn't a concert, it's a recording session which has been filmed
I can easily envision a swallow flying overhead when I listen to this
I usually contemplate one resting in a nest, taking shelter from the rain.
Absolutely marvelous - thank you for sharing :)
This song was an absolute BEAST to learn, but it was worth it. Maybe the most beautiful thing I've had the privilege of performing
I am LIKE 950...
This performance is beautiful. Oh my god ❤️
I've met Caroline Shaw! Regards from Baltimore.
This is sublime. Is anyone involved in the recording of this able to advise on the equipment used and post-production techniques?
This was beautiful. I know you probably have no idea who I am, but I am an emerging composer and hope to collaborate with you one day. Congratulations on a beautiful performance.
Stellar performance--love the covering of mouths with the music! What a brilliant direction
More, bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
So beautiful. Well sung!!!
Einfach nur wunderschön. Danke!
Why are some of the singers on the left hiding their faces with the music sheets? Is this some kind of mute?
It is an optional interpretation by the director to soften the tongue to palate (nnnnn). It can be done without covering the face .
Love this piece! Very fine work!
Bellísimo!!!
I love this!!!!💕💕💕💕💕💕

LOL.
@@Djessie11 amazing. I would have expected far more than that.
Easy listening classical crossover. Not as bad as Max Richter though.
sorry you flunked choir...😀
