I have the ratchet, it is pretty cool but I wish you could lock it as well as ratcheting left or right. When you use it as a screwdriver locking it would be very helpful.
It can be tricky. The two magnets on the side of the ratchet are easy (the two responsible for holding the sockets) but the internal one I would imagine will take more work with something like a pick or something. But that is true for most magnetic bit holders. 👍🏻
very nice video, i enjoyed it, i own a couple of wera pieces and i'm very impressed with the quality. i like the fact that you can carry this on your belt, can come in very handy.... Germans have always made quality tools...
Thanks for watching. I do enjoy the Wera tools I have currently. Seem to be high quality tools with some clever ideas thrown into the mix as well. Stay tuned for my review video on this tool that should be coming soon. 👍🏻
The absolute only thing that turns me off about this driver is the bits are helf in via magnet. Big chance of the bits sticking on a fastener and possibly getting lost. I've thought about it and only fix is if they used a rapidaptor bit holder and used an adapter for the sockets instead.
I hear you, one of my concerns with it as well. Stay tuned for my review that should be coming soon, I will talk through the positives and negatives I have found after using it for a bit. 👍🏻
Thanks, I appreciate that. I will make sure I watch the levels better next time. My goal is to get some better recording equipment once I hit 1000 subs. 👍🏻
@@garnerreviews sure, thanks for the response! Does it hold them pretty well? I'm looking at this for my car tool kit so I don't need both a screwdriver and a socket set. I really only need a couple kinds of sockets to change my headlights and batteries and stuff. But one of the nuts needs an extension to reach.
It holds it decently but obviously has limits. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with more than a three to six inch extension on it. And definitely test it out before relying on it. Honestly for a car kit that focuses more on sockets, you may be happier with one of Wera’s Zyklop ratchets with a few accessories. 👍🏻
@@garnerreviews Thanks, that's what I settled on! I figured that with the 3/8 zyclop and bit adapter it was basically a screwdriver anyways. Now I just need to put together a bit kit of some sort.
@@garnerreviews I agree with the original comment. But when you did the close up part way through, I found it was perfect. Thank you for a great review you have earned yourself a new subscriber!
I enjoyed the video. And the audio was spot on from my side.
Glad to hear it. I will be improving my video and audio in the future. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching

I also took out some duplicate bits and put in some flat blade bits, apparently flat blade isn’t used much in Germany.
You are spot on. I think you and I agree on both accounts. This are things that will definitely be coming up in my future review video.
I thought about this but am wondering how I will clean out the magnets in a pinch. In both the ratchet and the bit holder.

I want to give one a try !
Wait for my review before you buy. It is a solid tool with room for improvement in my opinion. 👍🏻
Nice tool
It is a nice tool. Couple of improvements could be made but so far I am liking it. 👍🏻

@@garnerreviews awesome man! Can't wait.
Your voice audio is VERY quiet in this video. I had to crank the volume to hear you. Just letting you know. Thanks for the review!

@@garnerreviews I subscribed so hopefully that helps. :)
@@Hagemann666 Thank you, it is appreciated. 👍🏻
I bought it for work but I'm thinking twice about using it cause all the metal dust will fill up the bit hole.
If you work in an environment with a lot of metal shavings in it, I think you are making the right evaluation. 👍🏻
What are them sockets in mm ?????????????????
8, 10 &13
Kc Tool sells a metric version that includes the 8mm, 10mm and 13mm. 👍🏻
Is it compatible with 3/8 socket extensions?
Yep, it is compatible with 3/8” extensions. They are just held on magnetically like the sockets. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching and the question.

I want it but I don't need it lol.
This is how I feel looking at KC Tools website! 😂 Thanks for watching. 👍🏻
360 / 5 = 72 teeth
Thanks and thanks for watching! If only I was smart enough to do that in the video! 😂👍🏻
Bro the intro music made me deaf.
My apologies, I will make sure to tweak the levels going forward. 👍🏻
Irritating that the ratchet doesn’t lock.
Agreed. As time has went on I have grown more discontent with this tool. Maybe a follow up video on it is necessary.
I would recommend zooming in I'm sorry but we're here for the tools not your entire shop
Thanks for the suggestion. Was the camera placement better part way through the video when I was going over the tool close up?

Thanks for the kind words and for subscribing. I will keep that in mind in the future and try to do more up close and personal with the tools. 👍🏻
