Given that Bhutan has all the natural gifts of spiritual culture and has acted to preserve its ecology in terms of GNH rather than GDP, it could lead ecological human development by implementing a demurrage planetary resource-based currency like teqs as a non-corrupting currency that would meet carbon targets and provide a safetynet and could be used freely for sharing, generosity or exchange. Rather than needing to be regulated, such a currency self-regulates a country's ecological impact by design.
