I feel like rainwings as assassins are just the way to go. Though, at the start of the video, I was thinking about how in Darkstalker legends, the Rainwings were more well know, though I don’t know if they were really dangerous. Also, I am pretty sure that the Seawings in Darkstalker legends were nervous about the Mudwings and the Rainwings maybe planing an invasion onto the coast, which means the Rainwings were a fully functioning tribe at the time, just like Mudwings were. The Rainwings did have a non-changing Queen and merchants around the continent so, I think they were probably a dangerous tribe at the time. I would also love to see what the main story would be like if the Rainwings never grew soft and we’re still a fully functional tribe.
If you read the Guide to the Tribes book, the one with all the stories in it about the different tribes, you learn more about the history of the RainWings. They were originally assasins, and then this new queen came to the throne who started making the tribe into what it is now - recalling the assasins, giving them sun time which made them lazy because of too much sun, not teaching them fighting, etc.
I feel like this would be exactly what would happen, then if i had to guess what the ending would be, probably Glory becoming leader (not so much queen) of the rainwings and finding skyfire or stealing some for the majority of the rainwings, so when the nightwings inevitably get attacked they aren't expecting more than 10-20 of them, glory wins, takes back the rainforest, and then its the normal for her plot, deathbringer still falls in love and simps over glory so much he stalks her and calls it bodyguarding
Idea: what if Qibli and Winter hadn't been moved to Moon's winglet? (It was said that originally there was gonna be a different icewing and sandwing in the Jade winglet, but some last minute changes were made since Moon, Winter, and Qibli seemed to get along okay)
I NEED A PART 2!!!! I totally want to see a part 2. I think Glory being an assassin is a very interesting topic and would love to see more. Glory and Deathbringer taking over the rainforest sounds amazing!!
I adore how, despite the different circumstances, they're still very much the characters we love. I'm not sure the NightWings would have considered the RainWings the least dangerous tribe in Darkstalker's time? Remember that back then the RainWings were ruled by Queen Anaconda, and were known by the NightWings for their venom and invisibility. But other than that this is truly fascinating and quite well developed indeed from that premise... such a big change has major implications, after all!
Hey Cyprus. I love the what-if stories, and you narrate them really well. But, I'd like to point out that in the time of Darkstalker, Rainwings were actually quite the fearsome tribe. I'm pretty sure that in the Darkstalker legends, there was a line about how the Rainwings were very respected. In book three, Grandure said the Rainwings weren't always the lazy, sun-loving, fruit-eating, lizards they had become, and that there were even actual fights for the throne, like the other kingdoms.

What if they didn’t light the fire in book thirteen that got blue swordtail and the leaf wings caught by the hive mind 6. What if Silverspot and Burnett tried to protect Luna and blue before they went into metamorphosis 7. What if Io warned Luna and Blue about possibly being flamesilk 8. What if Sundew didn’t help Cricket and Swordtail from rescuing Luna and Blue from the flamesilk cavern 9. What if Queen Wasp did infect and use the hive mind on her sisters Jewel and scarab 10. I was recently rereading The Lost Heir, and I had a thought, what if Tsunami and Auklet died in the battle against the Orca Statue. How would Coral and the rest of the DoD react, and possibly even more fun, would Blister care ? Would Blister take this opportunity to control the rest of the dragonets ? Just fun ideas.
I know it's unlikely you'll see this, but hey ho, worth a shot! I've been seeing some takes on, 'What if Blaze was evil,' and that got me thinking... What if Blister was good? Like, what if she really wanted what was best for the tribes? What if she helped Queen Coral instead of manipulating her? If Blister was good, who would the Nightwings choose to back instead of her? Meh, probably a stupid idea right?
Cyprus I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH. Everything about it was amazing, including the drawing of Glory you did in the background (Then again when is your art not amazing?)! Since I can't see her doing it let me, sit back relax and enjoy my story (Moons pov) As I cracked out of my shell i could hear chatters from every corner, i saw vivid colours and excited, i reached towards the nearest one, it shreiked and jumped away, curiously the tilted my head looking at all the curious faces, a bunch of images popped into my head, it was scary. "Is that a nightwing?" Said one really bright rainwing "Whose dragonet is this!?, I demand to know!" Said an older rainwing with a sparkling tiara, the queen of the rainwings "OH LISTEN! I found this poor thing by the bushes and shrubs at a far eerie corner of the forest while looking for raspberries,I didn't know it would be a nightwing!" "Can everybody calm down? Your scaring the poor thing" Said another rainwing, this one looked really pretty in little dragonets eyes She raised her talons out at the baby nightwing and cradled it gently, To this moon raised out her little talons grabbing the shiny, bright thing "Aww, Let's name it MOON!" Announced the bright dragon immediately exploding with colours "Well, that won't be too bad, feed the poor thing some raspberries, Daisy since both u and the dragonet have connected it's up to you to take care of it." Announced the queen Daisy smiled and cradled the sleeping dragonet closer. *A few years later* Moon yawned waking up from a quick nap, raspberries in her little basket "OH NO! i forgot to give the berries to mother, she'll be so mad!" Moon shreiked as she pushed her way past a group of dragons, she glided smoothly, avoiding all the branches She landed on the base of their little house hurriedly,upon landing she saw her mother, Daisy resting on a hammock on the corner "Sorry mother it's just that i-" blurted out moon "Hey, stop stop that's all right now how many times have i told you calm down, you know i wont be mad darling" Daisy smiled, reaching out for the basket "Phew" thought moon, she concentrated hard to see if this was what Daisy really meant "Moon! Are you mind-reading me again?, Didn't i tell u not to!" Daisy noticed instantly, and she also immediately cleared the flow of thoughts in her head leaving moon blank "Sorry mother, i can't help it! It just won't stop I don't know why" Cried moon, looking into her empty talons Daisy sighed, she had no idea how to stop moons mind-reading, they had decided not to tell anybody incase they might get scared or do something to moon cause of it Moon also sighed deeply, but internally she hated this mind-reading thing sometimes, although it could be usefull too it made it nearly impossible for moons to go to public places withought getting a striking headache at once (Intresting so far? I hope it is! Also I'll be continuing it at 5 likes!)
You should make a backstory on how the silkwings and leafwings got kicked out. My idea is The leafwings, silkwings, and rainwings all lived in the rainforest in peace, when the tribes were new. However they all ran into each other boarders and had to expand so the rain wings and leafwings went to war. The silk wing were staying back as they are a peaceful tribe. However the rainwings were winning because of their abilities. The silkwings saw that they would be crushed by the rainwings so they made an alliance with the leafwings to help fight in exchange for invulnerability from attack (like burn and the mudwings). However they joined too late and they ended up losing. Then you should talk about how they got there and their process of clearing out the breath of evil. Hope you do this and enjoy my idea!

Yes, in Darkstalker Legends, the rainwings weren’t lazy yet and were dangerous enough that the seawings feared them.

How would Coral and the rest of the DoD react, and possibly even more fun, would Blister care ? Would Blister take this opportunity to control the rest of the dragonets ? Just fun ideas.

I've been seeing some takes on, 'What if Blaze was evil,' and that got me thinking... What if Blister was good? Like, what if she really wanted what was best for the tribes? What if she helped Queen Coral instead of manipulating her? If Blister was good, who would the Nightwings choose to back instead of her?

Cyprus I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH. Everything about it was amazing, including the drawing of Glory you did in the background (Then again when is your art not amazing?)! I especially love anything that has to do with Deathbringer, so I got so excited when I realised he was included in this story. Okay but this is probably my favorite video in the 'What If' series so far- I just love the idea of Rainwings hiding all across the continent, disguised as dragons of different tribes. Also the whole 'Glory becomes an assassin' thing. I love itt :D

What if Kestrel killed Peril instead of Sky? I think this could be interesting. I think Scarlet would take Sky(maybe named something else though, Ember? his original name?) and make him her pet. Ooo or maybe Kestrel is able to fly away with Sky/Ember and rise him with the Dragonets of Destiny. Just a thought I had while watching this :)

What if the rainwings found moons eggs?
Since I can't see her doing it let me, sit back relax and enjoy my story
(Moons pov)
As I cracked out of my shell i could hear chatters from every corner, i saw vivid colours and excited, i reached towards the nearest one, it shreiked and jumped away, curiously the tilted my head looking at all the curious faces, a bunch of images popped into my head, it was scary.
"Is that a nightwing?" Said one really bright rainwing
"Whose dragonet is this!?, I demand to know!" Said an older rainwing with a sparkling tiara, the queen of the rainwings
"OH LISTEN! I found this poor thing by the bushes and shrubs at a far eerie corner of the forest while looking for raspberries,I didn't know it would be a nightwing!"
"Can everybody calm down? Your scaring the poor thing" Said another rainwing, this one looked really pretty in little dragonets eyes
She raised her talons out at the baby nightwing and cradled it gently, To this moon raised out her little talons grabbing the shiny, bright thing
"Aww, Let's name it MOON!" Announced the bright dragon immediately exploding with colours
"Well, that won't be too bad, feed the poor thing some raspberries, Daisy since both u and the dragonet have connected it's up to you to take care of it." Announced the queen
Daisy smiled and cradled the sleeping dragonet closer.
*A few years later*
Moon yawned waking up from a quick nap, raspberries in her little basket
"OH NO! i forgot to give the berries to mother, she'll be so mad!" Moon shreiked as she pushed her way past a group of dragons, she glided smoothly, avoiding all the branches
She landed on the base of their little house hurriedly,upon landing she saw her mother, Daisy resting on a hammock on the corner
"Sorry mother it's just that i-" blurted out moon
"Hey, stop stop that's all right now how many times have i told you calm down, you know i wont be mad darling" Daisy smiled, reaching out for the basket
"Phew" thought moon, she concentrated hard to see if this was what Daisy really meant
"Moon! Are you mind-reading me again?, Didn't i tell u not to!" Daisy noticed instantly, and she also immediately cleared the flow of thoughts in her head leaving moon blank
"Sorry mother, i can't help it! It just won't stop I don't know why" Cried moon, looking into her empty talons
Daisy sighed, she had no idea how to stop moons mind-reading, they had decided not to tell anybody incase they might get scared or do something to moon cause of it
Moon also sighed deeply, but internally she hated this mind-reading thing sometimes, although it could be usefull too it made it nearly impossible for moons to go to public places withought getting a striking headache at once

You should make a backstory on how the silkwings and leafwings got kicked out. My idea is The leafwings, silkwings, and rainwings all lived in the rainforest in peace, when the tribes were new. However they all ran into each other boarders and had to expand so the rain wings and leafwings went to war. The silk wing were staying back as they are a peaceful tribe. However the rainwings were winning because of their abilities. The silkwings saw that they would be crushed by the rainwings so they made an alliance with the leafwings to help fight in exchange for invulnerability from attack (like burn and the mudwings). However they joined too late and they ended up losing. Then you should talk about how they got there and their process of clearing out the breath of evil. Hope you do this and enjoy my idea!
