Trying to be very pragmatic I spoke to a couple acquaintances intimately familiar with the entertainment industry who made the following (good) point: worst case scenario Angelica comes in 2nd to Darcy in the voting - temporary setback because in 10 years whose shoes would you want to be in...a 22 year-old female ventriloquist whose potential is limited by virtue of her craft...or a 20 year-old singer with a 3-4 octave range who can sing any song put in front of her? The prevailing view is tight competition short term; blowout success long term. GO ANGELICA!!!
Even worse happened . Angelica's camp encouraged people to think Celine has pushy parents . The truth came out . Angelica has super super pushy parents who gave her professional singing lessons for last five years . For the AGT competition , they employed a singing coach who specialises in reality TV contests .
@@yvonnesmith2339 I don't know anything about pushy relatives, but given the same advantages, some children will rise, some will not. This could happen in the best of families. As far as Celine and Angelica are concerned, I go half and half--both are very talented and gifted with exceptional musical ability. Parents want to give only the best to their children.
@@yvonnesmith2339 if angelica's parent would not have been that supportive of her, then people wouldn't be enjoying such great performances right now.. She is talented kid contestants in such a big competition so what do we expect from the parents than to support their daugter and her pontential to the best ability they can.. They simply believe in the ability of angelica and they didnt make a mistake in providing such support for her.. Don't see any problem with that.. Angelica delivers! So..
