@Harold Dexter - I believe the Signature line is now done, with 12 titles in all (FYI the Diamond line also only had 12 titles). As for Jungle Book, it's worth noting it did get a physical re-release in 2019 as a Movie Club release. Most of us would've preferred it available in stores, but unfortunately that's all Disney is willing to give us.
I don’t really like the Signature Collection DVD versions of theme except for Snow White, which has 2 Deleted Scenes, The reason why is that It lacks Bonus Features
Too bad "The Jungle Book (1967)" and/or "Fantasia (1940)" hasn't been announced...yet. But at least "Fantasia" was being re-released as a movie club exclusive known as "The Best of Mickey" with "Fantasia 2000" & "Celebrating Mickey", right?
It's unlikely there will be any future releases (I personally believe the line ended with the 12 titles), but I'm curious if the Disney Signature Collection is even still in print. Yes, you can still purchase existing copies on Amazon, but is Disney still factory producing these? Do they still display them on shelves in stores like Walmart, Target, Costco and Best Buy?
I also think it is a thing of the past. I do not see any of the Signature titles in stores any longer. I do know that some are still available on the Disney Movie Club site though.
I’ve got the beauty and the beast steelbook coming tomorrow from Zavvi, Next week the little mermaid. I really don’t like the way Disney handle certain movies internationally, specifically catalogue titles, I mean in terms of the little mermaid we’re getting that steelbook 2 years after the US release, better late than never I guess. I have five steelbooks overall coming this week all from Zavvi Beauty and the beast (animated) Beauty and the beast (live-action) Speed Mulan (animated) Raya and the last dragon (This should be here by Tuesday, not by Monday when new releases usually happen in the UK). The week after Zach Snyder Justice League from HMV and the little mermaid from Zavvi June 7 Indiana Jones collection steelbook June 14 basic instinct (1st time to 4K) steelbook July 5 Howard the duck (1st time to 4K) steelbook and Logan 4K lenticular steelbook.
@@BasementBlus For me it’s a pain in the arse but just to reiterate Tony it’s usually just the catalogue titles not the new releases. Case in point when rise of Skywalker got its home video release in the UK in April/May of last year, we waited until August 24 to get the individual 4K releases of the first 10 movies (The last Jedi being a reissue and solo game rereleased with a different slipcover, Along with a different slipcover for rise of Skywalker). When it comes to new releases, regardless of studio it’s usually about four months from theatrical release for the UK and three for the US, give or take there. I don’t really have many releases that I want to purchase this year to be honest, I still have to do a whole lot of home improvements and other things. That said I may just get a few Star Wars home video releases as a Star Wars home video collector predominantly. Anyway all the best to you and yours
@@BasementBlus it's so sad I had hoped for more titles in the collection I was looking forward to it I think it's the best collection they ever did but either way I already have all of their movies now I'm hoping for them to release thier TV shows on Blu-Ray

Yes, I missed picking it off of the shelf, and I also missed the 101 Dalmatians & Lion King Target Digibooks. Too many movies on the shelves and in too many locations. It is hard to keep up with them sometimes.
Thanks for showing your collection! 😀
No problem. 😊 Thanks for watching!!
Nice collection Tony. Do you have a particular Disney movie that is your favorite?
I really do not have a favorite, but I have a lot of great memories of some of them from different times in my life. Do you have a favorite?

I hate when they drop Bonus features on newer releases. That is why I keep them all.

That is correct. You can check out my Disney Movie Club collection video I did a couple of weeks ago to see it.
@@BasementBlus Well, hopefully a Signature Collection edition of "The Jungle Book (1967)" might happen, but let's wait and see whether or not.

Is the Signature Collection over
Yes, I do believe that it is. It looks like all of the main titles are becoming exclusive to the Disney Movie Club now.

Didn't Aladdin have a lenticular slipcover?

The Aladdin lenticular was for the Diamond Edition release.
Did you buy them with the plastic around them, or did you put the plastic on yourself?
I place them in the plastic sleeves to protect the slipcover.
@@BasementBlus Cool, I've been looking for something to put my Blu-Rays in, where do you get yours and is it a specific type of plastic?
