Hi guys! I want to just add a little something. 1. My lipstick is SMASHBOX Always On Liquid Lipstick the color is In Demand. I did use a lip liner and it's MAC Boldly Bare 2. You can wear blush if you wear bronzer. The blush is a whole different story and if you want I can talk about in a tiny, short video but until then, if you are a beginner or just affraid to use too much makeup and you don't know what color goes with what, match your blush with your lipstick. Let's say you have 3 favourite lipstick well make sure you have three blushers that would match them. Or you can do what I do when I'm in a rush, I apply my lipstick as a blush. It is just a suggestion. There are really no rules in makeup, but when you really know NOTHING about it, it is good to have some guidance. So again, makeup lovers, don't feel offended. Let's makeup, not war! 😘

I learned from this video, I'm 60 yrs.old and contour and bronzer were not as popular as they are today. I was always into blush but never contured and bronzed, but I am now and was never really sure what the difference was. I used to be one of the best at applying old school makeup. I am 52 now but I have suffered a spinal cord injury and rarely wear makeup since I stay at home most of the time. Makeup has changed so much since 2013! My daughter is 25 and she is like you...knows her makeup! Unfortunately she doesn’t live in the state anymore and I now feel like a fish out of water when it comes to applying makeup! I am very fair since I never go outside much anymore. I feel like my hubby has lost interest in me?! I don’t even know where to start in this process of applying makeup....I’ve been out of touch with it for far too long!! Really helpful video, especially like the clear explanation of “grey” tone, as you say it’s actually pretty obvious when you take the time to look. I guess some of us panic a bit when we are at the makeup counter and are not sure, not all shop staff have sympathy for those of us learning about this stuff! Thank you for Demonstrating so well the difference between contour and Bronzing. With so many videos out there it is so hard to master the technique. Some people bronze their entire face, Contor and highlight then put blusher. Being older with hyper pigmentation in the hollows of my cheekbone I really don’t want to accentuate by contouring but I do like a bronzed glow You are so beautiful and I loved your video I am a new subscriber

Cred ca este primul clip pe care il vad despre acest subiect care explica asa bine si frumos diferenta dintre contur si bronzer. Am invatat si eu in timp ca sunt lucruri diferite si ca ai nevoie de produse diferite pentru ambele, insa eu uneori folosesc o pudra compacta mata, cu un subton gri -niciodata portocaliu - si aplic ca un fel de mic contur. Bronzerul intr-adevar are nevoie de ceva stralucire. Te pup, Andreea!

Hi Andreea! I love ur videos.. They are so informative and so explanatory. U told about the positioning of contour, bronzer and highlighter in this video.. I'll really appreciate ur reply on this.. If I did get it right.. What u told is.. 1. Contour is to be applied just below the cheek bone starting from the hairline, and just adjecent to the hairline on forehead and just below the jaw line. 2. Bronzer is to be applied on the cheek bone slightly above the level of contour, on the brow bone and corners of forehead and on the nose 3. Where do u apply the highlighter..?? A second layer over bronze or in between contour and bronze.?? 4. And then where goes the blush if bronzer is on the cheek bone.. This is so confusing... All the beauty and make up market is just flooded with products.. Memorising the names of product is tricky to me and forget about the colours and undertones... I really do look like a clown if I use them all.. I rather prefer to go just with a foundation and blush.. With eyeliner and lipstick.. Obviously I don't look flawless but still don't look like a joker.. Please help me at that highlighter blush and bronzer point. I'll be obliged.. Thanks.. Have a great new year..

I used to be one of the best at applying old school makeup. I am 52 now but I have suffered a spinal cord injury and rarely wear makeup since I stay at home most of the time. Makeup has changed so much since 2013! My daughter is 25 and she is like you...knows her makeup! Unfortunately she doesn’t live in the state anymore and I now feel like a fish out of water when it comes to applying makeup! I am very fair since I never go outside much anymore. I feel like my hubby has lost interest in me?! I don’t even know where to start in this process of applying makeup....I’ve been out of touch with it for far too long!! Where does a beginner again learn where to start? You are beautiful, by the way! Thank you and Hod bless!

Really helpful video, especially like the clear explanation of “grey” tone, as you say it’s actually pretty obvious when you take the time to look. I guess some of us panic a bit when we are at the makeup counter and are not sure, not all shop staff have sympathy for those of us learning about this stuff! Love your videos has made a huge difference to how I apply and place my makeup 🌸

Thank you for Demonstrating so well the difference between contour and Bronzing. With so many videos out there it is so hard to master the technique. Some people bronze their entire face, Contor and highlight then put blusher. Being older with hyper pigmentation in the hollows of my cheekbone I really don’t want to accentuate by contouring but I do like a bronzed glow

Cred ca este primul clip pe care il vad despre acest subiect care explica asa bine si frumos diferenta dintre contur si bronzer. Am invatat si eu in timp ca sunt lucruri diferite si ca ai nevoie de produse diferite pentru ambele, insa eu uneori folosesc o pudra compacta mata, cu un subton gri -niciodata portocaliu - si aplic ca un fel de mic contur. Bronzerul intr-adevar are nevoie de ceva stralucire. Te pup, Andreea!

U told about the positioning of contour, bronzer and highlighter in this video..
I'll really appreciate ur reply on this.. If I did get it right.. What u told is..
1. Contour is to be applied just below the cheek bone starting from the hairline, and just adjecent to the hairline on forehead and just below the jaw line.
2. Bronzer is to be applied on the cheek bone slightly above the level of contour, on the brow bone and corners of forehead and on the nose
3. Where do u apply the highlighter..??
A second layer over bronze or in between contour and bronze.??
4. And then where goes the blush if bronzer is on the cheek bone..
This is so confusing... All the beauty and make up market is just flooded with products.. Memorising the names of product is tricky to me and forget about the colours and undertones... I really do look like a clown if I use them all..
I rather prefer to go just with a foundation and blush.. With eyeliner and lipstick.. Obviously I don't look flawless but still don't look like a joker..
Please help me at that highlighter blush and bronzer point. I'll be obliged..

I love love loved this video!!! This is a total game changer! I always just figured out out to do my makeup based on what I was able to see when sitting in a makeup artist’s chair.
