A Su-metal classic.
'Akatuski' was her first solo song with BABYMETAL.
It was released on the 'Megitsune' single in June of 2013.
Also, I'm glad to see some love for the October-December 2018 Dark Side costumes and hairstyle.
They are under appreciated works of art.
I'm a big fan of those myself. I love the occasional changing up of the hair/outfits like the ones used for most of the 2018 tour and the Dark Side ones. Do I think either should be their full-time outfit? No, but I definitely appreciate the rare occurrences where they have them.
Also, I wasn't expecting to see what looked like sound check video of this song. I've only ever seen the unfinished version for Legend 1997, Budokan, and Legend-S versions, so this was really different to see.
This song really has something for everyobody, whether you are into vocals, guitar, drums... everything is awesome. It's pretty perfect in all areas.

i will add about the red thread- its like a japanese legend/folklore that everyone has an invisible read thread connected to their pinky finger (thats why she puts it up in the song) and that thread is connected to the finger of like your fated person, one true love type of idea. this song is kinda like not being able to give up that person- atleast thats how i’ve always understood it... (somebody correct me on the lore, i’m just speaking off the top of my head)

After watching many of your BabyMetal reactions, it seems that they are more suitable for watching compilation videos. They seem to like to watch many different costumes, hair styling, makeup, and stage setting.
I thank you so much for seeing many of my videos! Well, this one for Valentina and Valentina was the first video and they are completely different people from Giulia, Eleonora, Elisabetta, Martina and the others. I don't think it's fair to make comparisons between them, they are all different and everyone of them react in a different way due to their taste and knowledge. I use compilation videos due to copyright, not for other reasons😊

Grandi come sempre, a questo giro hai scelto gente più consona al mondo metal, ottime opinioni e sarei estremante felice se gli fai ascoltare la Trilogy of lights ( Starlight, Shine e arkadia) che secondo me è sublime per costruzione, testi, musica etc .. :-) poi se è possibile aumenta il sonoro, per un esperienza di chi guarda migliore 🥰

Non so quando ma arriveranno hahah Mi dispiace per il volume della canzone ma lo spettro del copyright fa si che per prudenza metta sempre una tacca di volume in meno piuttosto che in più :( Loro essendo metallare hanno una visione diversa rispetto alle persone portate finora sul canale, ma non credo sia più o meno interessante rispetto a quella di chi di metal ne sa meno di zero. Il tema del filo rosso che unisce due innamorati è ricorrente nella cultura giapponese, è anche il fulcro del celebre anime Your Name, si guarda il mignolo proprio perché è il punto in cui dovrebbe essere legato.
Akatsuki è fantastica, ancora oggi la mia canzone delle BM preferita, ha un impatto pazzesco, specie la versione del Budokan 2014, dove SU nel finale spinge a manetta, mettendo a dura prova il microfono😅.
Memorabili anche la versione a Wembley, forse quella migliore dal punto di vista musicale e quella del Baptism XX, la più scenografica. Purtroppo dopo molti anni ed il difficile tour del 2018, mi sa che dovremo aspettare un bel po' per risentirla dal vivo, visto che l'attuale scaletta è tutta focalizzata su SU, i precedenti "solo" sono stati eliminati.
Un grazie a Valentina & Valentina per aver partecipato ed interpretato lo spirito del brano, che appartiene al lato serio delle BM.

Ah, riguardo alla batteria, bravissimo Hideki Aoyama, ma da tenere d'occhio Anthony Barone, della Kami Band occidentale, è lui alla batteria nella dark night del Legend Metal Galaxy, quindi nella Trilogia suonata al Makuhari Messe, e ovviamente al Forum. Sua anche la versione che si trova più di frequente di Kagerou. 🤘🦊⚡
Intanto grazie a te per aver visto il video ed essere sempre presente nei commenti! Grazie veramente! Per quanto riguarda la batteria e la kami band in generale io sono molto più orientato verso quella giapponese, nello specifico aoyama, boh, leda (rip mikio) e ohmura. Questo perchè non solo hanno di loro una presenza scenica diversa di loro (il bassista di quella occidentale suona il basso col plettro...) ma anche perchè gli viene concesso un maggiore spazio, sia con un brano vero e proprio come mischief of metal god (chiamarla intro dato che dura più di 3 minuti mi sembra riduttivo) sia a livello di riprese della telecamere. Non penso di essere stato l'unico ad essersi acconto che la band occidentale non viene quasi mai inquadrata. Questo senza nulla togliere alle loro qualità individuali. Un giorno magari riesco a portarle a vedere un concerto le due valentine😁

I love Akatsuki but that was a weird video compilation. They had all sorts of stuff mixed all in there. Some of that was the acoustic version of Akatsuki that she sang at Legend of 1997. Legend of 1997 was for her 16th Birthday. That was the one with the big statue of the Virgin Mary. The statue was an homage to Metallica it was supposed to be like the statue in 'And Justice for All'. The show opened with 'Ave Maria' to the statue and closed with... Babymetal Death i don't want to spoil it but the statue was involved.
You should have done the live at Budokan version. But it's not your fault :) It's really weird to mix the video of the acoustic version which is like a different song with the regular version. I'm not even sure that's all Babymetal, i thought i saw a couple small clips of a Babymetal cover band but i could be wrong.
Well, the compilation is a way to avoid copyright👌
@@PECK_music - for sure, and i've had heated arguments where i've defended compilations. But that seemed like a poorly executed one. I really like the 'Catch Me If You Can' live compilation with 13 million views.

@@PECK_music it was a nice way to see the band over many years and all the different outfits, as musicians you don't need to watch a whole performance to understand what is going on as a non musician would need to. The Ohmura reaction will be fantastic, he is an amazing guy and a brilliant guitarist
