I cleaned my closet yesterday and it looks AWESOME. I put my long pants in a gallon storage bin along with my sweaters. Then I put my shorts on my bottom shelf, sweatshirts on the middle shelf, and my long sleeves on my top shelf. Then I hung up all of my short sleeve shirts in rainbow order on my lower hanging area and on my higher hanging area (right above my shirts) I put my dresses in rainbow order. I had 8 garbage bags of clothes in the end to donate!!! Today I’m doing my sisters side of the closet (we share a closet)
I am cleaning and purging today (just finished my closet which is clothing and extra storage) and I already filled 2 trash bags of clothes, blankets, and misc stuff to give away. Watching these videos is my mini break before I tackle the rest of my bedroom.

yay I was just reading the book The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up from Marie Kondo, because as a mom of preschoolers it is easy to clean up endlessly and still have a mess. I was just abou to reccomend you guys this book so you could teach us, or do a parody, or talk to us about the Konmari Method. I think that we need it as moms and also to pass this good habit of living in order to our children. Thanks for the video!

I love it! You're so right on the wooden hangers! In my old closet (when I had a clothes hoarding problem) I always knew it was time to purge when I couldn't fit another hanger in. The wood takes up like 4 times as much room as a plastic hanger so this would have been a smart switch. Luckily I don't hoard clothes anymore but it's something to keep in mind if I revert back lol
