Juniper trees are amazing. They are significant to us because they can grow where other plants can’t. God is pretty amazing too!
    Love the info!

They are significant to us because you can make gin with them. There are a lot of plants no one cares about that grow in harsher environments than any Juniper, but no gin.

I have those all over my property too. I’ve eaten them. They are strong. They will turn your stomach if you eat too many. Good upload.

My gag reflex is super strong and I'm afraid I might gag to the point of throwing up if I tried eating one. Neighbor pops 1 in daily like a pill.

Built On The Rock Homestead it’s not that bad haha, I would suggest it taste a bit like sap.

Interesting video, love learning more about what is available to us naturally if we just know where to look. Thank you!

Eastern red cedar but it's in the juniper family, not the cedar family.

I am an herbalist. I make my own medicines. I use Juniper Berries to make cough syrup. I live in the northern Nevada desert so I have to order berries. I have not seen any of these trees in my area.

It doesn't grow there. I've added a link in the description to info on cedar/juniper. Scroll down the page and a map will show you were it grows.

Can I ask what you pay for them or where you order them? I have acres of them.

I had no clue there were any uses for Juniper Berries! I always thought they were poisons and ripped some juniper plants out of our yard a few years ago. Always learning something new!! :)

Not poisonous at all, though people with cedar allergies probably think they are poisonous. There is a link in the discription section below the video with more information on cedar/Juniper.
