Great reaction I get chills every time I listen to this song and I got to see them perform this live at the Harrisburg show in August and it was awesome.I also heard in a interview this was there goodbye song when they moved from California to Georgia .
Melody Cristea wrote this song. If you were wondering what the song was about, it's about them moving from California to Georgia. This was shot at a beach in California just before they left for Georgia, now they live in Georgia. Ironically they will be headlining Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, California in 2022, thereby returning to their old stomping grounds for a little bit. They used to Busk (play for tips) every weekend for hours on the Santa Monica Pier, California, that's how they cut their teeth and why they have always sounded so tight.

Liliac is completely Independent. They do everything themselves except for the orchestra which they hired, but the choir were family friends and Liliac Fangs.
And other than hiring the drone operator, 99% of the time their dad records the videos himself, and the lead guitarist Sam edits them (he edited this video in fact).

The Fangs wanted a ballad and it took awhile for them to get the inspiration, but when it did, it was truly a family affair. Besides Papa Liliac is the Manager and have been recording his children for years, he wrote the string parts. They pulled out the stops for this one. I've heard Papa Liliac speak of the costs. Just imagine with crazy California restrictions and costs doing this on your own. They are Independent and for now, hopefully forever, we the Fangs help support them. Just a fun fact. Liliac's song writing is right up there with the best. The only criticism I have is that Sam's solos aren't long enough in their original songs. But other than that, their transitions between verses, chorus, bridges, breakdowns, and solos are phenomenal.

This is really tough what to choose next so I would go with "Mars" live in Cummings GA (Georgia) 2019 you'll we why when you see it. Plus it will give you an idea of how talented they are seeing them live. "Dancing In The Dark" is another phenomenal original. They are so versatile Melodia sings every song different she has such rang that hasn't been seen in or heard in a long time I love it. "Masters Of Puppets" is a great cover they do..Their official cover of "Rainbow In The Dark" (Dio) was the song that got me into them.
Yeah, I think Mars is a good next step. Then maybe "The Trooper" Iron Maiden cover to get a better grip on Ethan's talent that gets overlooked sometimes.
I love this band ! Liliac did great covers of 80's metal songs like "the trooper", rainbow in the dark, enter sandman, symphony of destruction, (the incredible) holy diver (Dio) and "last in line", .... They did great originals songs like "nothing, dancing in the dark, we are children ( I love this one), ... This band always give me smile like "Band-maid" (try "freedom" live).
This is by far their best work of what I've heard and actually one of the best new songs I've heard in a while, and they sure have competition from other up and coming bands. I get a bit of Guns n Roses vibes from this song and the video. Really epic.

I agree completely David, especially about his solos being too short.
A lot of solos are short in studio recordings. Usually the longer ones are in live concert performances but his could be just a tad longer.
