Thank you, much appreciated. But I'd like to point out something..the thymus isn't made up of reticular fibers it's actually Epithelioreticular cells network which is like a special type of cells. And PS: I don't usually pin out mistakes in videos like those but since I have my final tomorrow and they (my histology instructor that is) pretty much stressed meaning I'll be seeing it in the exam, I had to say something lol.
I'm confused on the importance and functionality of this gland in our lives. obviously there is an immune disorder that's involved with the gland but some say it isn't as important after adolescence. . any body ?

is there anything we can do to delay the atrophy of the thymus gland as we get older? Like, does good nutrition help? Or is it just inevitable?
